@Slank you’re not wrong. Dummet didn’t look out of place at all and played very well. When I say he has potential I mean he’s still only 22 and is a defender. Defenders cone of age sooner in there careers as they gain experience, so if this is hom now imagine him in 5 years? :D

    Tayls

Looks like he has a great future.

    Facts:
    - Liverpool have had the best start and are leading the form table
    - Liverpool failed to produce anything until the sending off.
    - Suarez was about as effective as a drunken mule for majority of that game.
    - We played with 1 Center back (our 4th Choice) and 3 full backs, (one of which made only his second PL appearance today). In otherwords one of our worst CB pairings on paper against 2 WC forwards / 1 olympic diver.
    - We did not look like we only had 10 men for periods of that second half and in fact looked threatening.
    - Was a harsh red card, even stated by professional commentators. A clear penalty though, no doubt.
    - Newcastle had just as many players on international duty, so ‘fatigue’ is hardly an excuse for Liverpool.

    A lucky result for Liverpool.

    Santon/Haidara/Dummett.

All vying for that Left Back spot. That has to be our strongest position in the team in terms of squad depth.

If you look at the ” penalty ” incident I also think it was an incorrect call. The rules state its a penalty if you foul the opo player, putting your hand on his shoulder is NOT a foul! The cheating little git did not change direction until he jumped to the ground after the hand was removed from his shoulder. Look at the replays and you will see I am correct. Also Gerrard should have walked making it 10 against 10, even the biased commentators agreed on that. Marriner looked as though he was going to keep the game going until the reds scored! He was so biased against the toon it was unreal. Great game by our lads who never gave up, hope its a good boost for their confidence. Well done the lads and a big thank you!
