    Owner doesn’t care
    manager doesn’t care
players don’t care. Have lost touch with the people who support them. I felt more optimistic when we were relegated ffs at least i saw a way forward. all i see now is stagnation and mediocrity for the forseeable.

done with this club at the moment

    only positive, tiote played well

oh dear now all of the negative people are coming out from under the rocks. FFS DID YOU NOT WATCH THE GAME, THERE WAS ONLY ONE TEAM PLAYING FOOTBALL TODAY AND THAT WAS US!! JUST NO END PRODUCT. AGAIN SUNDERLAND SCORED FROM A STUPID FOUL. ALL THEY DID WAS PLAY HOOFBALL. YES I AGREE THEIR PLAYERS WERE HUNGRIER AND THE DEFENDING WAS POOR, BUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN PARDEW’S ONLY GOT WILLO AND DUMMETT AS OPTIONS BECAUSE OF ASHLEY AND JFK FAILING TO BUY ANYONE???

they played some nice football too, kept it on the deck well…did you see their second goal?

they passed in in midfield, got it wide and put in decent crosses, played some long stuff too but thats the type of forwards they have so not too much else you can do with those players.

We may have kept the ball on the floor but as soon as we got near the final third we either just went back (fine to keep possession) or just clipped it over the top and out of play….we are very poor in the final third and always have been.

Tiote had gd spells but he still lost the ball in numerous occasions!!! I voted on Debuchy! Mostly for doing the least things wrong!

Feeling very deflated and can’t see anything changing without change!

I really like dummet but it really showed how you need experience before going into a game like this. Santon I was pleased for had a good game, also Tiote and debuchy. HBA swapped too much but at times was pretty cool and contributed to our goal. Strikers were ineffective. Cabaye was pressed out of the game too much for my liking. everyne else did their job. Our lack of bite and an inexperienced/rusty back line did for us. But none more so than the tactics of the manager, who patently set us up for what we knew would be a blood and guts first half from a rotten team with only motivation on their side.

For goodness sake this blog is full of irrationality
We were beaten in a close derby where form is of no consequence by two very doggy goals one foul and a moving ball
Shit happens but slagging the players and manager off is simply daft daft daft

People saying we wernt hungry enough have just got it all wrong, it’s clear the players were told to go out there and just shoot from anywhere, ben arfa and cabaye were shooting from 35 40 yards out time and time again. We played the ball into the box once and look what happened WE SCORED…You’d think they would learn from that but no they continue to go on blasting them wide and over from 30 yards out the effin ejits

The main blessing this season is that there are at least 3 teams in this division worse than us. However, with the people we have in charge here, we could easily become their equals

As for the our best player…only two stood out for me and thats tiote and debuchy…both worked hard and showed fight as well as their skills.

Cabaye, willo, gouff and remy worked but with nothing special to mention.

    The rest were poor.

Sunderland took the game to us in the first half. We were so slow to get started it was painful to watch. Their first goal really was poor defending, plain ball watching. I cannot see what HBA brings to the game as a ‘false number 9’, he cannot hold the ball up. If anything put Remy up top with Gouff on the left and HBA on the right. Pardew taking off Remy was an absolute farce, if anything Remy, as a clear goal threat, should stay on to get us a goal. In the end, we got lucky with our goal and Borini’s finish was unstoppable. It was always going to be about who started off the game the better, and unfortunately it was SAFC. It is Pardew’s job to get these players playing consistently week in week out and our performance today was a shadow of the one v. Liverpool. As for Cisse, get shot. I can’t see him scoring a goal anytime soon, as harsh as it sounds … As the saying goes ‘Newcastle consistently inconsistent’.

you can tell that there is a definite change in philosophy, we got some good passing moves going there was just no end product. Benny had a shocker. Dummett the poor lad was up against two strong strikers and sunderland played hoofball. When it was 1-1 we should of scored, we should of punished them, we were absolutely dominating but the defence just falls to sleep at the wrong moments. remy was inconsistent, cisse was just frustrating. cabaye was ok, tiote was ok but gave away stupid fouls. *sigh it was scripted for the scum to win, i wouldn’t be surprised if they have a new manager for the next derby just to fire their players up. Although yes, they were more hungry for the win, closed us down and we lacked that vision to split their defence open.

some of you are so deluded what the hell did Pardew do wrong? he set us up how we played well against liverpool, wasnt working so he changed it so it did work! thats a positive! seriously we lose a really close tense derby that we were probably the better side for 60% of the game. Why start the pardew out crap. you really do infuriate me some of you! rather has us as unstable and changing a manager every loss than abit of stability. god damn get a grip.

why are people annoyed by this…only the result is different to liverpool game.

    – Liverpool scored 2, so did sunderland. (both had a set piece goal too)

    – we didn’t create any real chances except the dummet goal against liverpool and the debuchy goal today.

The only difference is that against liverpool one of our pot shots from distance went in and today none of them did.

For a team that has conceded an average of 3 goals in their last 6 games (with 4 let in last week) we only had one genuine chance in the whole game. That’s the problem and biggest worry….for all our talent we are so ineffectual in the final third and rely way too heavily on individual goals.

Coatesy17 exactly, pardew did nothing wrong, its simply the luck and hunger we’re not getting! when it was 1-1, on another day we would of scored 2 or 3 then! it was simply from a stupid foul that sunderland got a goal. we were the team who played football, sunderland were the ones who played hoof ball.

Not wanting to come off doom and gloom as i still think we will finish around 10th

just i think we need to find a way to actually create more genuine chances, something we struggle to do even though we are passing the ball much nicer now than last year.

And what can pardew do anyway if he’s only got one centre back as his first choice and all the rest are injured or suspended? its the lack of ambition from the board thats letting him down.
