It Is Magic Being At Newcastle – Loic Remy

It seems like Loic Remy is unwilling to commit his future to Newcastle in January, but this lad looks born to play in the black and white stripes of the Magpies, and not only that but he is simply an excellent player, and seems to love playing for the Newcastle fans, who simply love the lad.

Loic Remy – after scoring on Saturday

And Loic scored his 6th goal of the season on Saturday, and what a goal it was, as it virtually guaranteed Newcastle probably what could be our best win of the season, as we beat an in-form Chelsea side 2-0 on merit – for the upset of the weekend.

And Loic was full of compliments for the Newcastle fans, and the fantastic atmosphere they create at St. Jams’ Park:

“I just want to say thank you very much for everything. We knew after Sunderland and Manchester City that the fans were very disappointed.”

“But it is magic being at this club because even three days after you lose a big game like those the atmosphere remains loud.” “So I say to the fans thank you for everything.”

“Before I came here I heard about the fans, the atmosphere, but I didn’t really understand until I felt it on the pitch,” “When you get a big win like this – wow! “

“I play football to have these kinds of moments. It is an amazing feeling.” “In terms of goals my record season was 16 when I was at Marseilles so if I can do better that would be great.”

Newcastle will still try to persuade Loic to sign permanently in January, but it seems the chances of that are slim at best.

And we suppose he could still leave us for another club in the summer, like he did last January when he belatedly went to QPR.

But he will not experience days at QPR like he did last Saturday at St. James’ Park, and the more times he has these great experiences in a Newcastle shirt, the better the chances we will have of signing him permanently, even if we have to wait until the summer to do that.

Here’s hoping. 😀

I’m really worried that if QPR can get back into the PL (which looks likely at the moment) then Remy will simply return back to them at the end of the season.

Can our beloved DoF manage to get him over the line in the January window, in fact, will he even try?
