I think now this starting 11 has to be our best 11 to start games.
maybe hadaira as the LB or mbiwa could play their.

what I like much better is goofy and sissoko over HBA and obatan.

tads…you disrectfull twat! Learn some manners will you – though we have been over this before?

By the way a mate of mine who is a Liverpool fan wants to know if you only watch the score in the upper left corner or you don’t watch the football?

Pardew thank Krul for that win because you got it totally wrong tactically for that second half

Looking at the table, we’re only 9th but apart from Southampton and maybe to a lesser extent Everton, all of the other team in front have a top notch squad which would be very difficult to compete against. Also we have played all but 3 (including Southampton) of the teams in front of us.

Keeping that in mind I think we can safely say, this is an ok start to our season. Let’s hope we can keep it up against the lesser teams : Norwich, WBA at home and Swansea away are our next 3 fixtures!

Second half was so nerve wrecking… I won’t be surprised if I’ve sh@t out tomorrows lunch as well…

Might as well have erected a brick wall in front of our goal today..

It’s gonna be a landslide for Krul, but Gouffy’s determination and industry are something to behold, Santo should take lessons in being assertive and not giving players room, from him; can provide a touch of class also as shown with his through ball.

Mbiwa, Debuchy and Willo also did very well. Obertan did the best of the players coming off the bench, despite only being on for 10mins. Made a few key tackles and provided our only decent outlet and showed bottle that he must have procured from somewhere since he was frozen out, flinging himself into 50-50s in the air.

    So happy with that win.

This has to drive us on now. We’re in touching distance of the Europen spots, with 2 home games on the horizon. Have to show the same appetite, spirit and apply the same principles to win those games.

    NO COMPLACENCY!

only player im worried about is santon, they specifically targeted him as the weak link and time and time again they penetrated down that side

we look much more balanced without hba

upgrade shola to another big physical striker and we are set

    fantastic.
mention for big mike, as much as I think he’s a hoofing plank the defence has been a lot more solid since he’s came into the team.
would like to see mbiwa left back and colo back in the team, players on form should play.

Haven’t seen Krul turn in a performance for a long time, feel he’s got too comfortable in his no1 spot and hasn’t contributed to saving/winning us points, this season, until today – brilliant effort – more of the same, that’s the Krul I formerly rated so highly.

It could so easily have been 1-1 .
    Despite that, great spirit shown.

Spurs needed a more open game to score, but having gone 1 nil down they dint get that.

6 points and more importantly , belief and confidence in the players.

Sir Bobby`s watchin over us concerning Mourinho n AVB, his apprentices to an extent, nobody cannot but give man of the match other than Krul, if they do then tha bonkeers, our defense battled hard but it was still the Spurs midfield and forwards that carved through that defence time after time in the second half, we play WBA next and that is our real level at this moment.

    Jesper
Fcuk off you sad little man
All you do is fcuking complain, 3 points against a team who had previously lost only 2 out of there last 28 home games
Disrespectful? You’d having a fcuking laugh kiddo with the thinly veiled insults you attempt to roll out

Tell your mate I watch the toon because there in my blood, I’m a toon fan through and through, I support them because there my team regardless of the performance and regardless of the score in the corner, so tell that to your Scandinavian Scouse, maybe he can hook on to pool

Massive three points today all you’ve done try to take the shine off
    Like most fans, I’m buzzing
    You on the other hand………..
