The team seems to have really gelled and it has a nice balance.
Gouffran is key to that. We now have attacking width and defensive cover whereas jonas only gave us cover.
We also have a striker capable of running at defences.
I hope Pards has said to cisse to keep an eye on Shola recent performances because he should be filling that roll come the end of the season but with an added goal threat.
Shola has been getting in between the lines and bringing the midfield in which is something we haven’t been able to do since demba left.
I like the way Pards has set us up to play at a high tempo.
Willo has been a revelation with his strength in defence.
Nice to see us playing some real football rather than the hoofball. And with Shola it means that when we do play long at least we have someone capable of bringing the ball down. I hope he. Keeps it up.
Thankfully swansea have no strikers for Wednesday. Another win or draw would give us great momentum for united. Then we just have to navigate the tricky Southampton and hopefully demolish palace.
If we can put together a good run into the end of the year it should set us up nicely for a decent finish.

There is no way Cisse could fill the role Shola is playing. Completely different players. Cisse is a poacher, not a link man, or a hold up player and never will be.

Comment #5I think the key to our team is Pace, 3 players in particular allow us to break very quickly in :
. Sissoko
. Remy
. Gouffran
There is nothing better than seeing Sissoko pick the ball up with space in front of him 🙂 . If he works on his decision making, final ball and finishing we will have some player on our hands .
