a clean sheet would have earned us 3 points. 6 goals conceded in 5 games since the return of the shitty one

so was pardew supposed to change it 2 mins from kickoff for the second half then?
by the sounds of some of ya thats wat you are saying
and btw for our goal pardew switched sisko n gouff and we scored and looked alot more dangerous for the rest of that half but i suppose that got lost on alot of ya because you were looking at the superior tactical nous of all the other prem managers

If you compare our game against Soton and Man Utds game against Soton, we’d be the more happier out of the two team. Soton didn’t have many attempts at goal against us wherein they had 18 against Man utd. Man Utd are very poor this season and will finish mid-table at best.

that is non sence. If pardew were to take remy off as soon as he missed that first chance you would be right on pardews back.

for once in your life can you just have the sense to blame a player or 2 because at the end of the day it’s them who are on the pitch an making decisions on what to do with the ball, all pardew can do is choose when to sub and right now their is no one on the bench I expect to score goals, in other words it’s remy’s fault for missing sitters, HBA’s fault for being so greedy and acting like a show and cisses fault for never saying onside.

i usually hate that ref but fair play to him he had a good game and enjoyed the upper cut
the linesmen on the other hand were shocking (i know there goal was on btw) but taking 10 secs to make a decision is shocking

Santon the major fault for the goal. Yet again he cuts way inside deep in their half and they break quickly to score.

Pardew will always get the blame from some on here whatever the result.

I’d take Gaston Ramirez from Soton for £10m.

Also, Jay Rodriguez is miles ahead of Danny Welbeck and should be considered for England.

I must admit, it was Santon’s fault for their goal. All he had to do was play the simple pass out wide.

We lost 2pts because Remy missed 2 super chances. Simple. We r nor City to create 55 chances and not to care if miss 1. We must score from our chances. And that second after GKs mistake…. I still cant understand how he missed that

I said they’d finish mid-table and that we had better players. This is proving to be the case.

3 first team signings in January could transform us. Soton are a top ten team, but don’t have as many decent players as us. They missed Wanyama and Ramirez today.

It wasn’t that easy. Remy had to wait for the ball to come down and the defender made him rush it. Not a bad miss.

You’ve slagged them for years. Your right about them now but you slaged them when they were winning everything. Is it a closet thing? ????

Toonking grow up lad and read what I said before accusing me of nonsense. If you want to know, I just think Pardew could have reacted about 10-15 minutes more quickly, he could see they made tactical changes and subs, were pressing us and a lot of our players were running out of gas ( Tiote pulling up with cramp) chasing shadows for a whole before our subs came on. That’s all.

Southampton broke up most of Newcastle attacks by giving away cheap niggly fouls. the ref did not catch onto this, a smart ref would have really cracked down on this but Soham realised they could get away with it. The only yellow cards shown were for two quite vicious challenges by Soham. As for the linesman in the NU half he was absoloutely hopeless. We need to get a decent striker in January, Cisse is hopeless.

Man Utd have poor players apart from Valencia, Rooney, Evra and Janazaj. Van Persie is past it now.

kets and anyone else who keeps screaming for marvo.

i listen to a football show during the week and the reason why marvo might not be playing is according to Malcolm McDonald who knows lot’s about Newcastle, marvo had a bust up with pardew last season.

Cisse isn’t hopeless. We need another winger/playmaker. In the last Marveaux article, Pardew said he’ll need him around the Xmas period.

I can see us not signing a striker because Pardew wants Ameobi to make the world cup even though he’s extremely poor.

Gomis at £2m would be a great coup though. Ba and Gomis would be ideal with Remy signing on a permanent deal.

    My transfer targets would be:

    Remy
    Ba
    Gomis
    Alderweireld
    Gaston Ramirez/Belhanda

Cmon man they’ll pick it up again. Dont think Moyes is the man, they’ll get a decent European manager in and will be back to their usual. I have to admit, it’s great seeing them on the slide. Loving it 🙂

tsunki he made his 1st sub on 50 odd mins and an attacking 1 at that
the over critisism of pardew on here is enough without critisising him for the players on the pitch making mistakes
to say he was at fualt today is an absolute joke imo!

Playing defensively with a packed midfield might be the right thing to do against the bigger teams, but we need to take the game to the smaller teams – especially at home. It’s no good grinding out a result against the Southampton at home. 40% possession at home is shocking. These scrappy and fortuitous wins against the big teams seems to have convinced Pardew to abandon the nice passing football we’d been playing.

And Ameobi – having the best form of his life – has not scored in 25 games. Only two players in premier have not scored in as many games & one of them is Sammy Ameobi.

read my point fully mate because what it is i am saying is pardew is very short of option when we are in need of goals. the only quick decision would be to at half time take off remy goufran and bring on obatan and mbiwa who are both more helpful for defending than HBA and cisse.
but people would right away call pardew a stupid manager because although he made the quick reaction knowing that remy is not scoring he would be a stupid defensive manager.

so you can’t have it both ways either enjoy the defending 1-0 leads or accept the slow subs since we have no goal scoring or decent creative players on the bench.

Very, very happy with a point today. Remy would bury those 2 chances on another and the bottom line is those misses were the difference between 2 more points – he is due a bad game so fairplay no point in banging on about it.

The only disappointment is he has no competition for being our top striker. Relating to Mr Tuff’s comment, Cisse offers nothing if he isn’t putting the ball in the net.

Happy with the performance though, collectively we deserved the draw but Sissoko, Gouffran, Tiote, Anita, Debuchy and Williamson were in great form again. can’t complain being 6th in the league at this point. Pardew in I say!

Manxpie I’m no big fan of Pardew but I was just picking out a small niggle I had with the speed of recognising a problem. When some of our lads got leggy it became obvious. Pardew said only last week that HBA Caused problems for Man U and pegged back their threat but didn’t see fit to use that until we were getting tired out holding them back. But in the end it was slack defending and a missed sitter that cost, not Pardew
