Vurnon Anita could well keep his place in the Newcastle side at Crystal Palace today if Alan Pardew elects to play in a 4-5-1 formation, which we did with great effect at Manchester United two weeks ago.
Vurnon Anita – could keep his place today
Crystal Palace have got 9 points from their last five games with three wins, two of them at home in the last three games, so they’ll be hoping they can make that another 3 points at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Vurnon Anita thinks this game will be tougher than the one last week against the Saints, and he had this to say in the local press:
“We’ve won a lot of matches, but we must keep it up and work hard, and hopefully in the next game we will.”
“I think it will be tougher at Palace than the Southampton game, because they need the points and so do we.” “So it will be a hard game.”
“Remy was unlucky, but he’s a good player.” “He will come over it – and in the next game, he’ll score.”
Remy has come out today and said he will make up for the two shocking misses of last week, when the Frenchman had two golden opportunities but missed both of them.
If we do have a Loic Remy in form this afternoon, we could get all 3 points and get ourselves off to a great start to the Christmas season with a win.
