Pardew Wishes Brilliant Newcastle Fans A Merry Xmas

Newcastle were so much better than Crystal Palace yesterday that the 3-0 final score-line was hardly indicative of just how good Newcastle played at Selhurst Park, where they thoroughly deserved all 3 points.

And it was again the game plan that made Newcastle so dominant yesterday, when our players executed it to almost perfection, and now in the last eight games we have six wins, 19 points and four clean sheets.

The Newcastle manager talked about the game plan after the game:

“We had a game plan to try and take the pressure out of their pressurizing. We couldn’t have done it any better. The players were very accurate with their passing and we looked comfortable right from kick-off.”

“I thought we had some outstanding performances out there.”

“I would like to wish our fans a very merry Christmas. They were brilliant today and I’m, sure they are looking forward to Boxing Day and hopefully we will give them a great performance.”

It seems that Newcastle are becoming better as a team, as they understand the strengths and weaknesses of the players, and we looked a well oiled unit yesterday and had 67% of the possession.

Now the task is to keep up the good form against Stoke City and Arsenal in the next two games at St. James’ Park, which are on Thursday and Sunday respectively.

If we can get 4 points from those two games then we’ll continue to fly high.

What do you think?

I’m really looking forward to the two home games over Christmas – good excuse to get away from the family 😉

Yep, a very merry christmas to all fans of Newcastle United Football Club – where ever scattered on the 4 quarters of the globe. We are all bound by a common love of a VERY uncommon Football Team.

May you live long and prosper!!

Sorry wasn’t ignoring you earlier I just went to watch oz the great and powerful (good film).

Yes Anita not spectacular or a specialist in one area but comfortable on the ball and great to have in the squad. I don’t think we’ll ever see him go for a huge fee like cabaye or tiote could potentially, he’s just not that eye catching.

    On the remy debate.
I’ve said this since we signed him. I’m not 100% sure he is quite good enough for a title chasing team. I look at man city, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool and arsenal and I don’t think he’d get in any if their teams.

I really think he’s the next level down to the likes of aguero, Suarez, Rooney, van persie etc. I’m not sure he’s going to have as many options as people think in the summer. I think he’ll go to whoever will pay highest wages and hopefuly that’ll be us. I don’t care what his motives are as long as he’s scoring.
