    Merry Christmas All

Just a thought for the match tomorrow, I would leave Sissoko out for tomorrows game as he is on 4 yellows, would rather he missed the Stoke game than risk a yellow tomorrow and miss the game against Arsenal

  • 25 FinnBarr // Dec 25, 2013 at 7:44 AM

Merry Christmas, all. Ed- thank you for this blog. The only news I ever check!

  • 26 cyprus // Dec 25, 2013 at 7:45 AM

    Merry Xmas all.

@21, I get your point regarding Sissoko, but I think we have to play Stoke as if they were Barca – like we did for Crystal Palace. Also, like I said elsewhere, I’d give HBA a full game.

  • 27 Scottishmag1 // Dec 25, 2013 at 8:01 AM

I agree to a point, its a tough one, he may come through the game without getting a yellow, just feel that its a risk, would benefit with him on the pitch against Arsenal than without, agree on HBA though

It will be a pleasure for me to find some other

Again all the best to Ed and his family, to all players
of NUFC and to Alan Pardew.
And for sure, we win against Stoke and also against
this club from London with the old man as
manager, I think the name was Arsenal.

  • 37 NEWEXPATMAGPIE // Dec 25, 2013 at 10:12 AM

Next two games will maybe make or break our whole season?

Win both we,ll be flying, win one draw the other, i,ll be satisfied too.

Our reputation is building and most of Footballing Europe are starting to sit up and take notice.
We were already popular in France, but with the WK coming up and most of our first team involved, our popularity is growing in Holland , Germany and Belgium too?

If our present form continues then players are going to stop coming to us just for the money and want to come to us to actually play Footy and maybe win something sustantial for Newcastle dor the first time for 54 years?

I fear the January window and hope Ashley does,nt end up selling 75% of the team without decent replacements? If this happens we,ll drop quicker tha whores draws in downtown Amsterdam?

Oh and Merry Christmas ED !

Happy Xmas to all (from Vancouver),

Don’t post often enough, but hope we all have a great 2014.

And well done to Ashley & Pardew! Yer, Cashley keeps dropping clangers but he’s a smart guy who will get it right (eventually).

2 yrs ago we had 8 good players, last yr a good team (full of injuries), thus year we have half a good bench too (with an excellent fitness coach). We have announced new training facility and too!

Next challenge is to have more diamonds in the team like Cabaye & to increase the stadium by 10k. Increasing our annual turn over from & £90M + the extra 30M is more of a long term target. We need to match the top 6 off pitch to challenge them long term on the pitch.
