At his press conference yesterday for the game against Arsenal tomorrow afternoon, Alan Pardew said that Cheick Tiote will come straight back into the side tomorrow, after missing the game against Stoke due to a one match suspension, so the big question is what will the team be, and who will be left out of the side for tomorrow’s game.
Cheick Tiote – will start tomorrow
On Saturday Pardew brought in Hatem Ben Arfa in place of Tiote, for the Frenchman’s first start for a long time, and he put in a great performance of attacking play and showed tremendous skill, and the 26 year-old was easily our Man of the Match with a massive 74% of the vote.
This is some of what Alan Pardew said in his press conference yesterday:
“Cheick’s a tough cookie to replace, and he’ll come back into the team for Arsenal, for sure,” “He’ll play against Arsenal, I make no bones about that.”
It could be the unlucky Dutchman Vurnon Anita who could again miss out, and even Ben Arfa may not get a starting place, but the Frenchman is bound to play some part in the game tomorrow, he’s in such sparkling and match-winning form at the moment.
So it’s a toss-up as to which team Pardew will start tomorrow, and whether he will play in a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 formation against the Gunners – but we can be sure Newcastle will be attacking Arsenal tomorrow in a sold-out St. James’ Park.
What do you think the team will be for tomorrow’s game?

1. Colocinni is the worst of our four central defenders
2. Every time our defence has been tested with him in it we have struggled. Stoke were on their way towards scoring more goals before Whelan got himself sent off.
3. Unless we play three in midfield to shield the coloshitty-led defence, and tiote as one of those three we will concede no fewer than 3 goals against arsenal
4. Had Pardumb left a working defence intact, playing 4-4-2 like we did v chelsea would have been an option against a rampant arsenal. With the piece of shit colocinni in defence 4-3-3 is the only alternative.
5. This is a great club with one of the best assemblies of talent in England. but our captain Coloshitty is a liability. If we can somehow get rid of this piece of shit we could challenge for the title. Thats how good we are

Comment #2With coloshitty in defence. The only attacking formation that can compete for 3 points with arsenal is this:
…………Anita…Tiote
Sissoko……Dreamboat…..Gouffy
…………………………Remy
Anything else and we’ll concede no fewer than 3 goals on sunday

Comment #4A difficult game to predict?
Surprising to see Collo getting criticism on here? Over the last few years he has played some cracking games for us, also made some howlers but he does,nt deserve most of the critique on here levelled at him?
I believe we can win tomorrow? But like i say, it is a difficult game to call?

I do think that MYM should have kept his place.
But you’re just a hater. And an idiot.
Did he get up to no good with your missus or something mate? Cause it sounds like you wouldn’t waste your urine on the bloke if his beautiful curls caught fire!!!

Comment #10if HBA gets into the starting 11 i think Sissoko needs to be dropped to the bench, even though Sissoko is my favourite player atm but against Stoke he made a lot of mistakes while passing

Comment #12b@w – Sissoko tracks back and helps out Debuchy a lot which is one of the reasons Debuchy has looked so good this season, HBA will not help out defensively.
If we’re going to play HBA from the start we’ll have to drop Remy or Cabaye – HBA can not be put on the wing as we need both Gouff and Sissoko to track back, HBA needs a free roaming role to be effective

Comment #14Tiote was a massive miss in the first half against Stoke and has to play.
I’d stick with the Palace side and leave HBA on the bench. If we play four against Arsenal’s five in midfield we could be chasing shadows all afternoon.

Comment #15Got to start with a five man midfield
Tiote, Anita, Cabaye, Sissoko and Goufron with Remy up top.
Against Stoke without Tiote, Cabaye was playing deep alongside Anita which left a huge hole which Charlie Adams was playing inand exploited, pulling the strings until Stoke imploded.

Comment #16We need to compete in midfield so team will be:
Krul
Debuchy Collo William Sant
Sissoko Cabs Anita Gouff Tiote
Remi
I’d rather have Hiadara than Santon who will get ripped to bits by speed ie Walcott

Comment #17I thought mym played well last season against arsenal and would swap him for santon as he has more pace to deal with walcott. Going for a win but only a goal in it 3-2 newcastle!

Sissoko must be played wide right; he doesn’t pass well enough to play in the middle of the park, but his power, pace and work rate suit us we’ll in front of Debuchy as you say.
Ben Arfa should play through the middle in an attacking role! Basically the classic #10 behind the lead striker. Give him free reign in the attacking third of the pitch. You have two midfielders behind him providing defensive cover. I think he has learned his lesson about work rate, and giving the ball away in bad spots.
4-2-3-1
Remy
Gouffran-Ben Arfa-Sissoko
Cabaye-Tiote
That’s a front six that can cause any back four problems. And it can be defensively sound if they keep their shape and discipline.

Comment #21Toonbrother – your assumption that Colo is our weakest link is way over the top. I would like to see how you came to your conclusion. Perhaps the saga of him going back to Argentina struck a nerve with you.
He is Mr Dependable and has been for as long as I can remember.
So please enlighten me as to how Captain Colo is now Coloshitty as you like to repeatedly mention.

Comment #22The True American – Spot on! I am sick of all this negativity! It really is depressing. Some people will never be happy. These are the type of blokes that win the lottery and still complain that they haven’t won more money!
Disgusting attitude and thank God I don’t have them in front of me or else I would slap some sense into them.
We are playing great football. Our best since Sir Bobby the legend and all this with ‘Pardumb’ like some like to say.
He can’t be thast dumb when he has us beating, Man Ure, Cheski, drawing Liverfool with 10 men etc.
The table doesn’t lie and the players are playing well thanks to his good management skills.
So lighten up and enjoy the moment because it could be far worse!!

Comment #23Toonbrother, you’re entitled to your opinion but I really wonder why you bother following the team as it’s clear that in your warped evaluation you can only see the “bottle half empty”. No one on this blog should be criticizing the team at present due to the run we’ve been on. If you can’t enjoy these moments then when the hell can you rejoice?
