How Will Newcastle Fare At West Brom?

9:07 am, Tuesday, December 31st, 2013 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 4 Comments

If we can win the game tomorrow at the Hawthorns against West Brom, we will soon forget losing against Arsenal on Sunday, painful as it was, because it will mean we have done really well in the four Christmas games, winning three and losing against the league leaders.

Hatem Ben Arfa – likely to start tomorrow

But that is easier said than done, and with the lads having played three games in the last 10 days, and we also have Cardiff City at home in the 3rd round of the FA Cup on Saturday, fatigue may be setting in, unless Alan Pardew brings in some fresh legs tomorrow.

W could see some fringe players finally get a game tomorrow, and hopefully the game plan is to go at West Brom from the first whistle and attack.

And that would be much like we did against Arsenal, but only after we went one goal behind, and it seems that Hatem Ben Arfa could get a start tomorrow, with the Frenchman looking to be in top form.

Let us now how you think the game will go tomorrow.

We didn’t play badly against Arsenal, and the officials last time out, and we had our chances to win against the title contenders. Depending on Pardew’s selection tomorrow I feel we will have too much for WBA and think we can win this one comfortably. 2-0 the TOON.

West Brom aren’t a bad team but on a horrible run, not won for 9 games now so we should really be able to get at least a point if we play our game.

I think we’ll get a 3-1 win, think they’ll come out and attack and we will pick them off.

    happy new year fans.Ed
Great 2 know there r passionate fans on this blog, esp after ars game,i’m one of them.
Eagerly waiting every single game we gonna play in 2014.it’s obvious the games getting tougher and tougher.but we are still united, nobody’ll take that from us,the lads and the boss, the Gaffer already have strong mentality,i don’t think there is any pressure agt westbrom,
but still important to get a result to keep up the pressure on top 5.
wetbrom are manager-less,so we have to go 4 an early attack and seal it early.
the boss should play ben arfa, replacing anita, behind remy like 4-4-1-1
    krul
    debuchy will’m colo sant
    sissoko cab tiote goufran
    benarfa
    remy
