West Brom had not won in their last 10 games, and in our poll on how we would fare against them on New Years Day, a massive 66% thought we’d win and only 13% thought we’d lose the game, and for some reason when we are expected to win, we usually don’t.
And after two successive defeats we really need a win tomorrow to take us into the 4th round of the FA Cup, and it’s a game we are expected to win, and that in itself has us just a little worried, just like we were before the West Brom game.
Cardiff City have just appointed former Manchester United great Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their new manager to replace the sacked Malky Mackay, and Cardiff City have just one win in their last 10 games, and interestingly enough that was a 1-0 home win against West Brom.
After that game West Brom manager Steve Clarke was fired.
