Newcastle Star To Stay On Tyneside In January

We suppose as long as Yohan Cabaye is at Newcastle and he is playing so well, there will always be speculation that other clubs are interested in him, and during the transfer windows there will be concerns that other clubs may come in and bid for him, which happened last August when Arsenal came in for him and offered around £11M.

Yohan Cabaye – not going to PSG in January

Yohan has talked about this and this is what he has said to  BBC Radio Newcastle.

“For me to go to Paris or another club, there is nothing. I just want to be focused on the next game, Man City,” “Nothing is happening for me. When you know what you want, it is easier.”

“I think it’s hard for every player. It depends what the player wants — if he wants to leave or if he wants to stay.”

“There is every time speculation about the transfer, even in January, so it’s hard for the player, the club and the fans, for everybody.”

“It is not a good period for everybody. We just have to stay away from that speculation and stay focused on our job, and my job especially.”

The news that Alan Pardew gave in his news conference yesterday was positive about Yohan, and the midfielder is fit for tomorrow’s game against a very strong Manchester City side.

It’s good that Yohan has come out and made these comments, but all it really says is that he’s not moving anywhere in January – but why would he ever want to do that and join a new club, with the World Cup coming up in June, and Cabaye anxious to be in the French squad?

Gosh Mr Harrison. It doesn’t say that he staying at all. That Mr Cabaye chap is just saying he doesn’t speculate about moving. He’s just concentrating on the next game.

The little blighter would jump ship at the first opportunity if PSG or that dastardly Mr Wenger showed up.

You’ve been duped Mr Harrisom. Duped.

Too many champers last night my good fellow?

It would seem that a player actually coming out and stating that he wishes to stay with the club is not enough for some People ?

At the same time, no one player is bigger than the club, and alas if an offer comes in from PSG, or Arsenal, Chelsea, or for that matter Manre also plus, not to forget Shitty! Now lets face it lads the club would sell without the blink of an eye?
Depending on the Fee, of course.

It is a breath of fresh air to hear that one of our top players actually wants to Stay with us and makes a statement to that effect.

Being “Duped “? has cock all to do with this, its about the press making statements to try and make money? And the club denying everything until the player gets tempted by Trophey,s, and actually winning something!

That would be nice after a 60 year wait eh?

Any prospective sale of Yohan will be the clubs stupid fault and not Yohans or Ed,s !

    Gosh Mr Newexpatmagpie

I certainly did not mean to upset you and cause an argument. I’m new to this blog forum. I’ve met some feisty fans on this blog. Some with real spunk. I kind of like the gusto of your defence of Mr Cabaye.

I must be spunky also and reiterate my point. Mr Cabaye does not say he is staying. He has been asked a question I’m sure of it and his response is to suggest he is just concentrating on the next game.
If he had told us black n white followers that he was staying, then I would be wholeheartedly with you my old chap.

I bet the rotter is also hanging out of Miss Downey.
