Newcastle Coach Suspended For Hitting Remie Streete

There news being reported that Reserve team coach Willie Donachie has been suspended by Newcastle United, possibly  for disciplinary reasons.

Willie Donachie – suspended by Newcastle?

The Evening Chronicle is reporting that Willie has been told to cease  his coaching duties at Newcastle, and it is possibly for disciplinary related reasons, and there’s news he hit an U21 player during the defeat at Sunderland.

Certainly the Newcastle U21 team, which Willie is responsible for, have not fared well this season, and maybe that’s part of the reason Willie has been suspended.

The Newcastle U21 side is 3rd bottom of the league having won only three of their 13 games so far this season, and the youngsters have never fared too well,  since Mike Ashley initiated a new emphasis on youth in January of 2008.

Nothing official has yet been forthcoming from Newcastle, so we’ll have to wait and see as to exactly what the status of the Newcastle U21 coach  is, but it’s interesting this comes a few days after the Newcastle Board fired Joe Kinnear on Monday night.

There is also a report out that Willie Donachie actually struck 19 year-old local lad Remie Streete, when he conceded a penalty, which led to Sunderland’s first goal at the Stadium of Light.

Streete and his father Floyd, who was a former Wolves defender, talked to Alan Pardew after the game, and after that discussion – the suspension was issued.

Newcastle have to issue a statement on this, as it’s all over the news now, and they should get ahead of the situation.

But it seems more bad news for Newcastle and bad news seem to come like the buses – all together.

club is in disarray…only put forward one man to speak, Pardew, and he is gagged. Somebody needs to come out and clarify everything, but who? no MD, no DoF…problems.

wolfs…the local journo Dafydd Pritchard explains it very well in the last piece I posted 🙂

…int he end Huw Jenkins is a well respected man in both Wales and England and Swansea is his lifework!

You know the three coaches who also got fired have been cautioned, but the media is still being fed info that supports Jenkins decision (when blaming results are not enough)

they did spend quite big in the summer though, bought in a lot of players, yes injuries have happened but they have under performed this year.

Laudrup seems a good manager but never had a big team in 10 years and not really shone massively. Think his name and playing reputation helps him.

a lot of things don’t make any sense in all of this

mike Ashleys biggest problem is , he has not got the right team in place to implement his wishes

it makes no sense, to buy a club for 300 million and not care,
he might not care about NUFC the way I care about it, but he cares about 300 million,
the guy likes money, he hates loosing money, but is always looking for the easy way, and that’s not a crime, we all want to earn more for less,

I really dont understand all the fuss about cabaye going, if he wanted to go , why force him to stay, he was crap for the first couple of month until he got his head sorted , but it was only sorted because he was promised he could go, what would have happened if he did not get his wish, toys out the pram again ???

is it pardews fault for relying on a player he new was going ?
whos fault is it for not having a back up plan ?

Ashley has provided many players , many good players, and for the most part pardew has not made one of them better, and I think that’s just a big a crime as what AShley is doing,

I really dont care who sponsors the shirt, I have no passion for how much we are not getting for lost advertisement space, and I really dont see why anyone else is, your a football fan, not a banker, all you should worry about is the football, concentrate on the players we have, and how we get the best out of those,

I can tell you now, if we were winning games, going for cups, no one would even care who owned the club or who sponsored it,

you think Chelsea fans are worried they have a shady Russian ?
you think man c fans are worried about oil shieks ??

    NO, there winnng things

    here’s a thought

you have heard the saying , you can lead a horse to water but you carnt make it drink it?

maybe Ashley wants pardew to start using his squad, pardew signed a deal which was to have young talented players or players with tallent but are lost and need a little help to get them back, pardew was ment to develope them ,fix them , then the club turns them over for a nice profit

now look at the season we finished 5th , cabaye was 25 million , tiote was 25 million, HBA after his 2 wonder goals 20 million, santon was 12 million , cisse was 20+ million , now there value has dropped, by a lot
is that Ashley’s fault, no ,

he has done many stupid things , and I really don’t want him at the club, but I don’t blame him for hiring AP, I blame DL for that,

I really believe that Ashley wants pardew out , the cheapest way possible

the sad fact is , all of signed up for this , no one protested when he signed michael Owen for 17 million and got his fingers burnt, he is not a football guy , he acts on advice from people who are ment to know more than him,

in 7 years I think he has only made money on one of his signings , cabaye,

by all accounts pardew and him have no contact, and for me , actions speak louder than words , I just wish Ashley would grow a pair and be ruthless and get rid of the weak link

The LMA has contacted Swansea to take a statement of why he was fired (it might end up the same way it did here between Mike and Keegan)

the state we seem to have at the minute i’m now feeling is a bigger mess than the kevin keegan walk out.

back then their was lots of chaos but we knew that most of it was down to the loss of kevin himself.

the thing with this chaos is everyone everywhere is so confused it’s like being in a lost world as we are even seeing people like JFK getting sacked or forced to retire.

fcuk bad tactics because if a manager is having to answer every single thing that is currently going on at the club including why those above him were sacked then, how on earth can he improve his tactics.
