Good News – Debuchy Is Happy At Newcastle

After the comments of Mathieu Debuchy a couple of days ago, we were almost ready to say he’ll be another top player who will leave Newcastle this summer, but of course you can never be absolutely sure of what he really did say, or the context in which he made those comments.

Mathieu Debuchy – he’s happy at Newcastle

And not surprisingly Alan Pardew was asked about the Debuchy comments today in his press conference for the Aston Villa game, and the fact Mathieu  said he is at Newcastle through the end of this season, but is unsure where he will be after that, the manager has said that Mathieu is happy at Newcastle:

“I don’t think it’s accurate.” “I spoke to him, and he’s happy at this football club.” “He’s signed for another four years, I think.”  “He’s done very well for us.”

But of course as we’ve pointed out before, Newcastle are not the masters of their own destiny – because if a big bid does come in for Debuchy from a major club like PSG – Mike Ashley will sell – in the same way he sold both Carroll and Cabaye.

Mathieu is a popular player on Tyneside, and he was an excellent buy from Lille just over a year ago,  and Mathieu’s already become a much better player at Newcastle, and he’s been one of Newcastle’s best players in this his first full season on Tyneside.

Of course at one point Yohan Cabaye was also happy on Tyneside, before Arsenal came a calling last August.

But it would be tragic if we lost Mathieu in the summer, and it’s about time Newcastle held onto their best players, and tried to build a top side around those good players we already have.

But we’ve been saying that for almost seven years now ….

Good player, great effort… seems pretty loyal, however, a good world cup, a high bid and he could be gone. Though I don’t think he would force the issue. HWTL

Didn’t Pardew also say that Jonas had a future at the club, but Jonas revealed that earlier the same month he told him he wouldn’t be playing again?

That silver tongue is spinning his web of lies daily.

this is what i said yesterday ! his interview was mis-interpreted but with things being bad for us most fans tend to believe the worst.

i just hope luuk starts finding the net tbh so i have a bit of brightness untill the season ends.

still not going to any games untill we have a good transfer window.

What needs to happen to Newcastle is exactly the same as what happened to man city in 2008. we need a new mega rich owner who wants us to be great again and is prepared to spend millions.

Ashley, Pardew, Charnley, Irving, Carver, Stone OUT
New owner and directors, new TOP manager and TOP coaches IN

Then we need a major clear out of the squad and bring in QUALITY. Hopefully this will all happen in the summer as these signs suggest that ashley might be preparing to sell up:

    – Hasn’t spent in two transfer windows, used JFK to try and cover it up. JFK did that, now he’s gone.

    – No word from him in years about what he wants to achieve.

    – Wants derek llambias back, to prepare to sell the club?

Everything is just speculation at the moment, from players leaving to new arrivals.
But one thing that is certain Mash won’t be over spending and we all know he has no idea never mind ambition.

    http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/exclusive-debuchy-leave-newcastle-interview-true-translation/?

    Debuchy spoke at length of hoping to go to Brazil, making the French team, representing his country. His memories of favourite world cup etc. etc. but the small bit that has been plucked out to make headlines (and money!) in England…here is the true translation of what Debuchy said;

Q “You are staying over there, you are not moving?

Debuchy “No (I’m not moving), yeah I am here (Newcastle)”

Q ”What about next year, you might join him (Cabaye at PSG), you never know?”

Debuchy “No it’s not that” (the translation is NOT “I do not know”!!!)

@moses – huh! You want the players to stop flying to games and travel by coaches – I don’t think this is a good idea as they’ll be knackered and late for games due yo roadworks etc
You need to get a grip man even the top luxury coaches aren’t that good and sharing a coach toilet between 20 for a 7 hour journey usually means it gets full after a couple of hours, unless you’re expecting them to stop at service stations for bog and sarnie breaks ?

Some people seem to think Mash will be selling up soon, I can’t see it happening any time soon, the main reason he bought the club was free global advertising of his sports crap. Also selling our best players is great for his bank balance. .

Thought long and hard about this and i am a sure quite a few will disagree because Ash is making money, however i genuinely believe Ash will be wanting to leave our club soon.
Even the most thick skinned will not want to be laughed at or ridiculed by his own fans for long. One or two believe he has scraped back quite a bit of his loan already, we will never know exactly how much he has now. But the press are now constantly at him, former players, former chairmen, current chairmen at other clubs, other fans….The list just goes on.
He is a businessman, successful but clueless in the world of football. The biggest hint yet (IMO) is the sacking of JFK, Ash even knew that was a grade A mistake which must have killed him to admit.
I cannot back it up further, its just a feeling after 44 years of life that even he will be sick.
Some early signs he is preparing the club again to be sold and this will be decided one way or another this summer…… If he spends, he maybe staying…If he does not and again only sells ?????
    Enjoy your evening all…..

you got it wrong what i am personaly doing is for the benefit of our players/club/fans in showing the owners/managers ect ect i will not personaly be a zombie and take whatever punishment they give me without me questioning them back !

i did not mention anything about good team ect thats something that just poped into your head from your own doing but now you mention it does that mean that you are happy supporting a team where the powers that be weaken the side knowingly and that you are fine with that ?

“He’s happy at this club as he knows that if a bid comes in for him during the summer, he’ll be off somewhere with ambition and not stuck at this football club that is face a slow and painful death”

I love the fact that fans that are staying away from games because of what Ashley is doing are called “Plastic fans”

they are not plastic fans they are fans that are standing up for what they believe is right and are standing against a man that is killing this club of all it’s passion and pride

The trouble is Mash can do whatever he likes and fans will turn up in their thousands. And he knows it.
I understand we all support our club but feeding a problem (MA) isn’t going to help the club in the long term.
Mash could get a group of lads from the pub and fans would pay him to watch them.

the way i’m starting to look at this is wether everything that happens is ashleys fault or not ! he owns the club and its his responsability to make sure the club is as best as it can be !

too many lies to know whats the truth but what we do know to be the truth is that over 5 years he’s made 45mil through transfers and thats inc incoming and thats without the cabaye sale and tv right money aswell as whatever profit or loss the team has made per season.

i think its safe to assume we have atleast 60mil to spend in the summer !!!! lets just see >.<

Can you really see Ashley spending anything more than the bare minimum???

We stand to make 60+million on top of what the club would usually bring in and I’m convinced he’ll do as little as possible and maybe panic buy next January if we are in a relegation fight
