Newcastle After Top Free Agent This Summer

With all the players that could be leaving Newcastle this summer, the Tyneside club may need to bring in a number of new players this summer, so Newcastle need to get going identifying their potential targets for the summer, and we assume Chief Scout Graham Carr is very busy scouting players at the moment.

aaron hunt

Aaron Hunt – 27 year-old Werder Bremen midfielder

After all, it’s possible that players like Loic Remy, Shola Ameobi, Sylvain Marveaux, Jonas Gutierrez, Ben Arfa, Dan Gosling, Gabby Obertan, Fab Coloccini, Davide Santon, Steven Taylor and Papiss Cisse could all leave Newcastle in the summer.

And the club are always on the lookout for free transfers, and Newcastle know which players will become free agents two years out, and one of them that we are being continually linked with is 27 year-old German International Aaron Hunt.

The left footed attacking midfielder is out of contract with Werder Bremen at the end of June, and the clubs said to be interested in the player are Newcastle, Southampton and Tottenham.

With no Director of Football at Newcastle currently, Secretary Lee Charnley and Finance Director John Irving are the main men involved with transfers at the moment – so we hope they are very busy.

Hunt joined Bremen in 2001 and he made his first team debut in September 2004, as a substitute against Hannover 96,  shortly after turning 18.

Having a German father and an English mother, Aaron could have played for either Germany or England – but elected to play for all the German youth sides, and he has three full caps for Germany.

The 6′ midfielder has played 253 times for his Bundesliga club and scored 65 goals with 40 assists, which is a good record.

We think this player would be a good signing for Newcastle this summer, and this summer could be  water-shed transfer window for Newcastle, with the squad changing big time before September.

What do you think?

Come on mate your distorting facts here. HBA was nothing more than a petulant child when he played in France, the reason he never made it at any club was because he constantly argued with coaches and would break cufews etc. absolutely nothing to do with his footballing ability. He got his move here by going on strike, the player has come out and said he made a lot of mistakes and has matured since being here, so you can’t compare his childish antics to the person he is now.

Fast foward to the spurs game, we have scored 1 goal in 6 games I think prior to the match, HBA has been tracking ppl when recently in the team but for some odd reason he’s dropped!!personally if I was in his position I’d have left a long time ago, we are losing 2-0 he brings on both Marv and HBA, the game is lost because these 2 are bench warming and creatively we have nothing going forward!! How can you blame 2 bench players who played 30 mins for a defeat of 4-0 over 90mins?

Pards keeps blaming blaming players of this ilk….just look at the Tevez affair at west ham, he blamed the signings of these £30m deal for disrupting his team!! Come next season when santon is playing CL in Italy or even Arsenal, HBA will be playing CL with PSG or someone similar…..I wonder who the next scapegoat will be!!

It really makes my teeth itch when i read quotes from pardew saying performences not good enough , and players have to do better, everyone is to blame apart from 1 person – yep you know who- the person whos fault it really is- his. Why would anyone want to get rid of a good set of players and keep a shite manager ?? why on gods earth would any club do that? why would any industry sack their staff and keep a manager on that is sending the company into freefall ?? mad- utter madness

im sure there is some womans football to save,

go and watch the games, i promise you goofy is at fault for quite a few goals we have conceded,

goofy is as guilty as HBA for being greedy and shooting before looking for a pass,
goofy has scores most of our goals from around the 6y box,

i think maybe you have miss read a few things about HBA, …..since he has been at NUFC he has been a model pro.

the problem is 100% pardew, and how he wants the game played,

another thing that is annoying me is now we are a poor team because of how many cheap french players we have,

    hahahahahahahahahaha

    Enda mer rene vrøvl

if only we could hold on to the ball for longer than 2 passes, we wouldn’t have to defend for most of the game

so fooking frustrating watching players give the ball away so easily or try to make a hero pass as soon as they receive the ball on the half way line

Shocked that we may be after freebies
Graham Carr is given a list of qualities of players to look for.
Cheap or free, they have two legs, young enough to improve and sell at a profit when they get noticed.
Oh and they can play good football because they won’t be able to learn it from the coaches and manager.
That’s why we sell em on after two years as Pards gets to train them and they start to get Pardewed so Ashley’s afraid their value will decrease as they become poorer players so he sells before that happens.
Some never improved to get worse….Obertan and Ben Arfa to name two.
Ben Arfa was better before he came here,at times he showed what he could do but he has only improved defensively if that’s possible.
In my eyes he hasn’t improved offensively.
Obertan is the same as he was at Utd

Cabaye got seriously “Pardewed” too – so much so we sold him to PSG for £20m.. Just amazing how much skill, talent and potential he lost while playing for us down to the bad manager.

Has it ever occurred to you the guys you quote were just not good enough anyway ?

Ben Arfa is nt going to work if we are going to play Debuchy and Santon as our wing backs…
The reason we have this much points as of now is bcoz of the combination play of sissoko, gouffy, debuchy and santon(weakest link)
if Alan pardew has to give license for Ben arfa he has to play either 3 at back or debuchy replaced with simpson again!! but i dont think Ben arfa contributes taht much to make that change!!
Ben arfa’s attitude s**ks.. after scoring a goal to come and say he derserve ballon D’or…. he may strive under a manger like rodgers but not under a manger like jose mourinho or ferguson

    Mautidi
    Bibaras Natcho
    Diego
    Bafetimi Gomis
    Montoya(Barca Kid)

to name a few.. if we re looking at 8 players+, it should be a combination of free transfers+ carr’s signings

i really dont care where the player comes from or how much he costs, the only French guy that is no good at our club is obertan, he will never make it in any division,

I think the club have some great French tallent and I’m very proud of the fact they done there home work and got them at very good prices rather than waste millions on guys with half there ability

the simple fact is pardew would cripple talents like Ronaldo, when he first came to England all he did was fall over and with very little end product, now I’m not saying HBA will turn out the same , but he has natural football tallent , it’s up coaches to get it out of him that is productive

I’m betting everything I have on the fact that if Ronaldo and messi came to newcastle under pardew , he would still play defensive football that see them both flop

arsenal paid 42 million for a player that does not work hard and has similar ability to cabaye,

infact I think cabaye is a more complete MF and if he had of played for any other attaking team his price would be much more than 20 million,

just because we got 20 million does not mean pardew made money on him , I think pardew lost money on him just as he has on other tallents in our team

No one is slating the French. It just so happens that French players tend to be available for a lesser fee than English players, incorrectly so more often than not.

That is the vaguest answer you’ve ever given

Oh and does that mean you’ve been talking BS since the summer with your JFK was here to force Pardew out if we’re not allowed to believe journo’s?

Still doesn’t answer how Pardew “lost” money on Cabaye
And no we were never going to get Ozil money for Cabaye the players were miles apart in terms of ability and reputation at the time of purchase, ridiculous comparison
