Top Player Now Doubtful For Villa Game

Ben Arfa is now a doubt for tomorrow’s important game against Aston Villa, after the player did not participate in training yesterday after suffering a knock.

Ben Arfa and Pardew – in happier times

.The French International will be given a fitness test today ahead of the game tomorrow, but it was always unlikely he would start that game, after he was ripped apart by Alan Pardew in the dressing room, after the 4-0 defeat by Tottenham, for his lack of effort and passion after he had come on as a sub in that game.

This is what Alan Pardew has told the Shields Gazette today:

“Hatem’s got a knock.” “He didn’t train, and I’m not sure he’s going to make it.”

It seems that it’s doubtful that Ben Arfa will be fit to play, but the best he would hope for is a sub appearance tomorrow, and maybe Sammy Ameobi will now get a run out in the second half – if the state of the game warrants it.

Ben Arfa could well be playing in his last season for Newcastle and could be sold in the summer, since he will then have only one year left on his contract.

Ben Arfa has played 81 times for Newcastle with 14 goals and 19 assists, since signing permanently for the club just over three years ago from Marseilles.

Pointless game, pointless season, pointless club.

Just making up the numbers taking the Sky money whilst advertising SD.

Next season … yep pointless already.

Ha ha the blog moron strikes again!!!!

Catchy writing down pointless figures and them using them to back up an argument doesn’t mean a thing son.

The league is far more competitive now than it’s ever been.

Go and use your little stat machine to see how much money has been spent by teams and how many internationals each team have.

I’m sure your school mates can help you.

He would have started on the bench and if used it would probably be to replace either Remy, De Jong, Cisse or Gouffran. I would think that Sammy would be his natural replacement.

The key players returning are Tiote, Colo and Remy. Almost the spine of the team. They are more important than Ben Arfa.

Well Hatem is well know for some self destructing behaviors.

So i would not be surpised to see him signing a new contract.

I guess he’s like everyone now waiting to see what will happen at the end of the season in the club…

For having a spine, you first need a design. We don’t have one.

Anyway, i don’t even know why we are talking of the team or the current season.

Nothing will happen until June now.

So no one got a more interesting subject?

The final of the Ice Hockey Olympic tournament will be Sweden vs Canada. Pretty exciting isnt it?

Its the clubs policy to not try and win a cup or get into Europe, and have no intention of winning the league.

This next and every season is an exercise in finding cheap french players they can make a profit from and show as many people possible the fat mans tacky cheap adverts.

Some (usually those over the pond) would say that the French know all about not having a spine.

Over the pond? You mean the US?

Well would be nice to remind them time to the time they were very quiet at home when we dealed with the wrath of the germans.

And we don’t said we saved the world after the russians did the job…

Is it me being cynical or are these little knocks that seem to be shopping players training and playing along the lines of why should I bother. The clubs not interested, the owner has sold any ambition down the river and Pardew can only keep saying the same things over and over again. Can we get the points in the bag before we slip into the relegation fight. I honestly don’t know and as bad as it makes me feel I’ve almost started to not care. I love this club I really do but please do not criticise me with comments like you should always back the club. Back the club to what may I ask?

Here here mate, we have a load of dedicated fans supporting a club going no where, if only Ashley could see the potential we would be CL quality and he would have his SD advertised across the world, I think a report said we were in the top 10 supported clubs in Europe, if only he had the same ambition!!! It could be a lot worse for the fans as they can chose to leave or not turn up for a game, I work as a steward and have to stay till the end ????????????
