Very decent win -I did not see that coming -loads of energy and commitment. -the lads put their chances away.
However, Percy Parsnip (aka the serpent tongued, silver barnetted snake oil salesman) has let the club down by his yobbish behaviour.
If it happened on the street he would have been nicked and would currently be languishing in the local hokey cokey.
He is a manager version of the horse puncher – they must be related. I think he could do with a month in the local jail -that would sort him out. Followed by bail supervised with an ankle tag. Clearly he is a ruffian -he’ll be shoplifting next for White Lightening cider.

if the media were serious with the way pardew reacted today they would never have been so happy to see morineo making his return to chelsea.

A poke in the eye can blind people a head butt would damage the person who made it just as much as the person he does it too.

you ask people in 2 years time about big incidients they remember about newcastle, their will be lots more who remember the bowyer dyer fight than the pardew headbutt.

Really pompous comment on previoius thread – of course the big thing is a good peformance and solid away win against a strong side with decent home record and resurgent attacking form since the January window

Excellent display MOM Anita – everywhere passed it long and short and capped his performance with a goal. Sissoko close second.
Pardew silly silly boy, shouldn’t of reacted but – shows he is passionate about the club and the players he puts on the pitch.

And won more away games than any other Newcastle manager in a premiership season – not bad eh

Let’s face it, if we had got the win 4-1 and nothing happened, then the media will still make up some rubbish about x player wanting to leave! Unfortunately Pardew has given them something else negative to write about the club.

Just hoping that Suarez decides to bite a southampton player 😉

Seriously if that’s viewed as anything more, after being shoved in the guts by the way, you should probably change your user name!!!

Not justifying his actions but the length this is being blown out if proportion is ridiculous beyond belief
How many clubs would be aiming this much anger towards there manager in these circumstances?
If Bruce had been sent off for reacting to say Debuchy shoving him like that Hull fans would be screaming for Debuchys head, our lot are queuing up to stick the knife in, it’s embarrassing

Seen Pardew incident. As per usual. Massively over-hyped. Don’t let a couple of stupid incidents detract from the job he has done at Newcastle. Especially with what goes on behind the scenes there.

I haven’t seen the incident but isn’t the difference that Shearer was a 20 something lad reacting in the heat of the moment and Pardew being a very grown up man at 51 being in charge of a massiv PL team?

couldn’t agree more, it’s not good to see your manager react like that, he should be above the level of some players but to call for the sack? i don’t see why people would say that unless it is just an excuse to sack a man you don’t like/rate.

It’s not good for his image but in a few years time it might still stick with him but it won’t stick to the club.

It’s open season on Pardew now, he’s done himself no favours but it seems that Shearer is always the quickest to put the boot in, the man’s going down in my estimations.

As for Sourness and Savage, they are jokes, who’s opinions are laughable

the last few words of that tweet ” Especially with that goes on behind the scenes there. ” point out that barton knows much more than fans, pundits and media know about newcastle at the minute, i’d say he knows more about newcastle and it’s current state than alan shearer.

From what I saw there was no contact and although pardew pushed his head forward he didn’t really throw it in do cause damage.

It’s not ideal from the manager, but he will get a touchline ban and it will be all over after that.
