A Depressed But Truthful Manager In Post Match Comments

Here’s Tim Sherwood’s press interview after yesterdays’ 4-0 defeat of Spurs at Chelsea, and at least Tim tells the truth – too many of his players just don’t have the heart – but how many times has  a manager said these things after a game?

Tim Sherwood at press conference last night

Not many times is the answer – and you know it’s going to get interesting when Tim  asks the interviewer what he means by the first question.

Tim doesn’t look too happy – and that’s got to be a huge understatement, and the words of my wife Madeline of 42 years spring to mind – cheer up, it’s only a game.

yea defo looked like he was going to have a good cry. I bet watching the re-run of Sandros defending for the 3rd goal perked him right up though.

    hahaha genius defending.

I know many spurs fans can’t stand him, but his record is excellent and his honesty refreshing. The score doesn’t reflect the game at all.Silly errors, a so so penalty and a totally unfair red. Don’t you worry Tim.

Well too early in his career to say how good a manager he is but he does play in a positive way which always gets people more time as they like the entertainment.

Fair reflection on that game yesterday, if you make that many errors you deserve to ship 4 goals.

Sherwood has a touch of the Pardews about him though, can best anyone but when they lose they get a right pasting.

Also after we have taken no interest in the cups to save fixture pile up it’s got a bit wrong as other teams have taken it seriously and it’s delayed our fixtures so we have 2 weeks off but games crammed in later on.

Ah but plenty of time to flog tickets, onesies and t shirts for the next home game.

Spurs have only themselves to blame, not sticking with a good manager who would have sorted things out by now and trying to get by with the boot boy. No offence, but…

On the remy saga, personally i think the continued link with arsenal is bs. Why didnt they take up the option of having loic on loan for a season with a view to buy as we did.
I think if we have a good run to the end of the season and sneek in to europe there is a good chance of making his move permanent

Ya right, Sperz should’ve stuck with Rednapp – he’d have had them near bankruptcy by now!

The remy saga is not worth thinking about. You’re right to call it a saga. It’s a dry orange that’s been lobbed in the bin. Lets leave it there instead of getting it out every two or three days to suck on it.

Sherwood will be gone in the summeralthough he isn’t helped by the load of tish in the squad.
AVB and Levy wasted the Bale cash on a load of overpriced average players – soldado and lamalla alone were 53 million between them – money we can only dream about wasting

Don’t even think Avb had a say in the transfer matters tbh

Think it was Baldini that signed them all. Avb just took the rap for it.

@ mineshaft we could always invite blackley and brownlie back and discuss AP actions again.

The down side is me and quite a few others will ignore him again.

mindshaft – hey not a bad idea – get them all nicked -televise the games from the prison yard. If there are any shenanigans or assaults -so what there in the nick anyway. This could also solve the problem of pitch invasions -easy -peasy -there’ll be no crowd.

What a waster of talent and money Soldado and Lamela are.

You can argue only Eriksen and maybe Paulinho have been decent for them, the rest of their squad is unbalanced and quite rightly poop

pards needs serious but fair punishment no he should get a 3 match ban same as a player who simulated a head butt would it the fecking southern media making merry at our expense as usual re remy even if we bought him he could still force his way out of the club i think he might stay tho he knows the english game now qpr was a mistake and he prob knows game time would be limited at the arse i would say it all depends on what bumble does in the transfer market…

hehe ill have to remember that one.

on remy the lad <3's it here you can tell a mile off but if he gets offered more money esp off a better club ofc he will be gone !

no point worrying as theres nothing fans can do about it.

cabella wants to come to us also but every man and his dog is trying to put the lad off (maybe they have cabellas best intrests at heart who knows) but if he does manage to sign for us we will step up a class.

They’ve spent a 150 million on players and the only area they are better than Newcastle United are their centre halves.

Jazzyp – its only a couple of months until we find out what Mike Ashley’s intentions really are. If Pardew is told to tighten his belt and cope with the current thin squad and a couple of absolutely necessary replacements then we will be looking at 5th-9th place targeted every season and no cups or Europe until we get a new owner or SD Folds.

the only one out of them I would take would be ince

gomis don’t think he will be good enough
lescott to old and would want to much cash

but more than happy to ship out the players you list
and you could add to the list as well

Hopefully they’ll choose a rubbish manager, and get stuck with all these players who will be on big wages and it will give us a chance to gain some ground on them.
