This Saturday Newcastle play the second game of Alan Pardew’s three game stadium ban and it’s against Crystal Palace – a club Pardew played for from 1987 though 1991 – and Alan will not be allowed in the stadium and John Carver will again manage the side.
Fabricio Coloccini – needs to show leadership in time of need
Let’s hope we get a better result against the 4th bottom side than we did last weekend in London, when bottom of the league Fulham beat us 1-0, and that was their first win in 10 league games.
Fab Coloccini the Newcastle captain needs to step up to the plate and show some leadership in Alan’s absence, and the Argentinian had this to say this morning in the Shields Gazette:
“I’m not really vocal in the dressing room, I’m more vocal on the pitch,” “I’m there when we need the words. If someone is not in a good position, we can concede a goal.
“I think it’s more important on the pitch.” “I don’t think it’s more responsibility, I think it’s the same.” “Because when we are all on the pitch we can’t hear what he says near the line.”
“The responsibility when we are all on the pitch is the same.”
We suppose Alan Pardew will give the team the final team talk from a hotel suite on Saturday before the home game, and we just hope the lads can play a lot better and show more determination and spirit than they showed last weekend at Craven Cottage.
The last thing we need is another defeat from one of the bottom four clubs – and a win would be great.
However, in order to win, we’ll have to score at least one goal. and that seems to be difficult when Loic Remy is not in the side, and he’s still out injured for another two or three weeks.
Luuk de Jong, Papiss Cisse, Moussa Sissoko, Yoan Gouffran or even Shola Ameobi have to be in decent goal-scoring form on Saturday, if we are to get all 3 points.

This survey is for anyone who has been part of a construction project (past or present) that used some form of waste management on the project. See if you can help him with they survey here.
