Newcastle Fans Pessimistic

9:03 am, Friday, April 18th, 2014 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 5 Comments

With Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy likely to be back from injury tomorrow, we expected fans to be a bit more positive on how Newcastle will fare against Swansea City at home tomorrow.

Mathieu Debuchy – could be back tomorrow

And of course Swansea are struggling with relegation and are only three points above the drop zone, and the south Wales club are also having some internal problems of their own at the moment.

But 62% of fans still think we will lose the game tomorrow, and that would be five defeats on the trot. :(

Ed. You expected fans to be more positive??
We’ve been easily brushed aside by pretty much every team that’s been lucky enough to play us since the new year. I think the word you wanted was REALISTIC mate.

The pessimism isn’t all that surprising. Newcastle is a team that has completely thrown in the towel. Everyone, from the players to the manager, wants off this sinking ship. I’d love to see a turnaround in this game, but I don’t believe it’s going to happen.

Sadly, the only person who is guaranteed to stay through for next season is Mike Ashley.
