Alan Pardew’s Sky Interview After 2-1 Home Defeat – Video

Alan Pardew – 5th defeat on the trot

Here’s Alan Pardew’s interview after our 5th successive defeat – this time to Swansea at home, and it was only Swansea’s second win in the last ten games. and their first away win in their last 12 games on the road. 🙁

And Sunderland beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the late game, and that was Jose Mourinho’s first home league defeat as manager of Chelsea – and Sunderland must now have a decent chance of survival.

    BDin9,
I couldn’t believe how little noise the fans made, and you’re right you couldn’t hear it from the leazes, the team hardly got booed off never mind Pardew, although it was a bit of a farcical ending, noticed Debuchy legged it straight down the tunnel.

Remember when you looked forward to the start of the season.
Im already dreading it,we have a summer of missed targets and cheap journey men to fill our shot to pieces squad.I swear if i hear the gut say “over the line” once more……….

I would love to see 50.000 fans turning their back towards the pitch when Pardew entered the dugout home against Cardiff. I would absolutely love it!

arsenal, a team who had been playing excellent and managing to go a full season without defeat, still have the same manager but look at how much worse they are.
leeds a team with some great history are in such a bad state.
liverpool won the CL with rafa, then came guilett and they went on the slide, now they got another owner and are in line for a title and we see the liverpool we used to know.
city a team who won nothing for 50 year got an owner who spend lot and look at them now.
chelsea a team who before abamovich were average but now are top 4.
spurs were doing very good for a couple of years but then was the shock and bye bye modric, then it was bale and look at them now, they a team with a manager merry go round.

so how does that not prove to you that it will make no differance what so ever, the thing which takes premier league clubs forward in the way we wanting the club to be taken is down the type of owner more than anything.

The likes of Remy,Anita,Mbiwa,Marveaua,Ben Arfa and Debuchy didn’t sign on at Nufc to play this rubbish football
They probably thought with the likes of Cabaye etc then quality will shine through but losing Cabaye was huge.
When you lose the one player that can unlock teams and make our team tick, along with being told that 10th is good enough by your delusional manager then to a pro player that must be demoralizing and with so many defeats along with misfiring strikers it must be a horrible situation for a player.

again it’s yet another thing that was damaged by ashley as he split the singing section apart.
so yet more reason it’s ashley who is biggest damage not pardew.

    Thump,
I know mate it’s like a funeral now, I mean noise as in having a go at Pardew, he’ll be spared at the Emirates as it’s a Monday night with tube strikes and Lpools celebrations will drowned out the travelling fans at Anfield, Cardiff will be the usual apathetic fans just accepting their lot.

Been terrible for nearly three months at the games the fans around me have lost the will to live with the crap pardew serves up
I used to think it was just down to the owner but he’s lost the plot big time
If we had played a good team it would have been a cricket score
So agree with other posts years ago Pardew would have suffered the wrath of the fans and been away by now his interviews are a disgrace
No wingers on the pitch to set up chances then brings two strikers on plays one in midfield and the other out wide

What you consistently never fail to register and it does seem a major problem for you, is that in his whole career pardew has never ever been consistent.

Fleeting good moments are quickly replaced by hitting the self-destruct button time and time again . You still haven’t explained why he split up the MYM / Willo patnership amongst many, many other things.

You have to be a bit special to nearly relegate 3 different clubs and have 2 record losing streaks in the history of 2 different clubs, not to mention all the records he’s broken here for all the wrong reasons.

Pardew said his squad was better now than when we finished 5th but one day it’s that and the next another story with him.

    Well said.
It’s mainly down to our owner,he depletes the squad.
We find good players,we sell them on and don’t replace until we desperately need to.
Sports direct and Mike Ashley holdings are all doing very well through this.
Lots of negative coverage of the team and ground only promotes his business too.
He doesn’t want to invest crazy amounts to get us around the top 6.
On Pardew I must say he has been dealt a bad hand time and time again by his boss.
I agree though that he is clueless with the lads he’s got left.
Playing players in wrong positions, poor tactically and on and on we go.
The whole set up is a joke, can’t see the fans leaving in their thousands as we’re the greatest yet most stupid supporters in the country to be putting up with this ownership and managerial partnership shambles.
I do however believe that if Ashley had waited to sell Cabaye until the summer then this mess wouldn’t be happening.
Pardew is clueless but with Cabaye and other intelligent players in there we would’ve stayed in and around 6th

is that the same arsenal in the cup final and probably in the champons league again 17 years in a row.

Their very worst season still trumps our very best by miles and they play football despite losing wiltshire walcott, ozil, ramsay etc !!!!

Mourinhi net spend over less time 600M
wenger net spend over more time 69M

if everyone is so annoyed at pardew and his rubbish, why is their such a big fuss being made on ashley’s decision to bad the local media?
would it not be better if every single news source was banned or basically pardew just refuses to take to the press.

he is trying to keep it positive and give players praise but that non sense, he tries to sound as though we are going to spend big in the summer which is rubbish. as for excuses in games that are lost even sir alex ferguson blamed referees for bad results.
arsene wenger accused the referee for the result which saw us come from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 so it’s clear they blame anyone but them selves and as for blaming the boss, well i guess your bosses must all be soft sh1tes as i would never want to accuse my boss of the damage we see as i know he will sack me.

MA has a 5 year plan and its working perfectly, keeping costs down, spend minimum amount to keep us in the premier league, offering cheaper tickets to fans hoping for something that isn’t going to happen. Above all his profits are growing and SJP is full.

    why should anything change?

Terrible if it is,I don’t live in England and don’t even come from there and I’m hurting badly as a Nufc fan.

what a suprise i knew you would come up with that.

well then pardew has therefore did well this season at newcastle because the FA cup is as good an achievement to arsenal as finishing 10th is to newcastle that is a FACT.
if the FA cup was really an aim for teams like arsenal their is no way we would have seen FA cup finals like we have seen in recent seasons.

so if you consider that a good achievement by arsenal then 10th is a good achievement by newcastle.
newcastles equivilent of 5th is when you see an arsenal team challenging for the title not an arsenal team who aim for 4th.
