Yohan Cabaye – This Is Why I Left Newcastle

Yohan Cabaye left Newcastle in January and was not replaced and it was another massive mistake by Newcastle owner Mike Ashley who has proved time and again he doesn’t understand how football works, and he is simply not cut out to be the owner of a football club – especially one with the history and pride of Newcastle United. 🙁

Yohan Cabaye – it’s a trophy won

And Yohan Cabaye has won a trophy at PSG – albeit the Coupe de la Ligue, and it was a victory over Lyon last night by a score of 2-1, and immediately after the game this is what Yohan had to say to France 2:

“This is largely why I am here”, “We’re playing to win and it’s a trophy won”,

It was a solid performance at the Stade de France by PSG, after they had been eliminated from the Champions League by Chelsea in the quarter finals.

Cavani hit two goals in the first half, one from the penalty spot, and a terrific goal by Alexandre Lacazette’s in the second half for Lyon wasn’t enough, and PSG were able to add the Coupe de la Ligue to their Trophee des Champions title.

On the other hand, Newcastle’s last trophy was won back in 1969 and we don’t have the ambition to win anything anytime soon,  so we suppose Newcastle is not a club to sign for if you want to win things – sad but true.

And no doubt Mathieu’s best friend Mathieu Debuchy will have let Yohan know we lost our fifth game on the trot yesterday, and Newcastle United are again in crisis, as we seem to be sinking like a rock.

It’s not good.

We all know why he left and we know why others will leave too!

…but what I don’t understand is why our manager refuses to quit. He would drag us down and stil not feel responsible and quit – some even suggested to me last night that Parsnip has no obligation or responsibility towards us nor the club.

That was when I called it a night (no wonder we cannot get along and no wonder the club’s a mess)

Atmosphere has been flat for a number of seasons – just a few games have we been roused from our slumbers.
But yesterday’s was the quietest I have known it for a full house. Swansea fans when they did sing could be heard above us.

But Jail there is no or very few songs like the singing of the Blaydon Races etc., just mundane chants – a bit like the football we are dishing out at the club.

Bit sad I think Cabaye if all he wants to do is win things – I would rather be on the pitch playing than warming the bench – but call me a oold timer

This guy is not the reason we are BOTTOM in relegation form in the PL. We had a lot of poor displays with him on as well. Unfortunately, there is only one thing to be done at this moment: replace the manager. Also, for the first time, start questioning the great Carr. He has concentrated on only one market and frankly, must be getting on. Scouts need to scour the whole world, especially when they are working on limited budgets and are looking to catch players on their way up.

I think Pardew got let off very lightly yesterday, if their second goal had of come ten fifteen minutes earlier it might have injected some passion into the crowd, it’s obviously a very different set of supporters that go to away games.

I heard a few people saying yesterday they weren’t renewing, the ticket I went on was my best mates who normally takes his daughter, how can he explain to her that he’s not taking her because Mike Ashley is a cancer.
    Go toon go,
    What a ridiculous comment.

Very True – Away supporters are the salt of the club. What more can be said. Had some great away game trips but sadly don’t get to many now.
Very True – Pardew got away lightly yesterday – for the life of me could not understand the starting line-up/positions players were playing.
Sick of hearing excuses – just say we were shite/clueless/pedestrian
    – we’re on our holidays.
Great line of phrase from Swansea manager – Newcastle are on their holidays and we will give them a bit more sand to play in!

Its NOT just Pardews falt for our poor form our players must take responsibility as well for lack of effort and thinking there on holiday.

The whole club is in a mess.
Shearer said on MOTD we can’t score and can’t defend.

although you wouldn’t think there was a problem the way SJP fills up.

A cup in a poor league and playing from the bench. Good luck to you, Yohan – if that’s all you want.
