Arsenal Now Want Hatem Ben Arfa

8:27 am, Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 13 Comments

News today that Arsenal want to revive  Ben Arfa’s career in London, and that they will go up against Inter Milan and potentially Marseilles this summer for the mercurial winger, who seems to have come to the end of his career at Newcastle United.

If Alan Pardew stays on Tyneside this summer, we can see Ben Arfa wanting out,  and we’re convinced he will go to a Champions League side, simply because the player is a match winner, and could be better utilized in a winning side – like Arsenal.

The French International is not well equipped to help out a struggling side, and that’s been seen at Newcastle since Christmas, where the player has seen Alan Pardew unhappy with his work rate.

The opposite is true if he plays for a good side, because he is out there potentially winning games for the club – as he was doing at Newcastle two years ago, when we eventually finished 5th top of the Premier league.

He scored two of the best individual goals ever seen at St. James Park against Blackburn in the FA Cup and then against Bolton in the league in early 2012.

One of the complaints against Alan Pardew is that he’s been unable to get the best out of the player, and if Alan keeps his job, we’re pretty sure that Ben Arfa will want out, with just one year left on his contract at Newcastle.,

The French press has reported that Arsene Wenger could make a move for Ben Arfa this summer, and a week or so ago one of his former clubs, Marseilles, were also said to be interested in getting the player.

The odds are that Ben Arfa will join a big club this summer.

What do you think?

Comments welcome.

To be fair, if anybody can get the best out of HBA it’s Wenger.

One of the most talented yet at the same time one of the most utterly misused players in the history of the club.

Alan Pardew does it again. Making good players look poor whilst also using them as a scapegoat to protect his own spineless jelly back.

all our players would benefit from a new manager,
    they have
    lost skill
    lost focus
    lost fitness
    lack caring

    again

Just shows how incompetent our manager is really he cant get the best out of HBA who is a match winner, shame.

Under Kevin or Sir Bobby he would have thrived. There is no doubt in my mind.

Under Pardew, he is the completely wasted and blamed, yet it is a total lack of planning, ideas, team cohesion and training ground practice which is really at fault.

That comes back to the manager everytime, which then goes to the owner for not only signing an under qualified manager, but not getting rid of him after countless abysmal runs and records.

    Ashley out, Pardew out.

I really can’t decide if AP has succeeded Souness as my most despised toon manager ever? It’s a tough call for me, but it’s so obvious what’s wrong with my team, that only the owner still seems to want AP there. A friend of mine who lives in the midlands and follows Wolves even suggested that the players we had were potentially great, but diminishing in skills because of poor coaching. It’s so obvious that even a fan of 3rd tier football can see the problem.

I’ll be over the moon if HBA goes to Arsenal. Just to show Pardew how sh!t manager he is.

I have a bad feeling for this summer

I think most of the squad will be wanting to be sold
And with the 2 poor seasons we made, the players will be sold for low values and we wont be able to replace all of them.

Ben arfa, Krul, Coloccini, S.Taylor, Mbiwa, Santon, Debuchy , Tioté, Cissé, Marveaux,Rémy, are all bothered for a departure.

Its incredible, the best players of the squad!!!

We cant do anythg to get rif of Ashley, so the only thing is to fire Pardew.
How can still this man has the job? seriously, he’s breaking all the bad records, made worst than Hughton who s been fired, we are the worst team since 2014 january, the players seems unmotivated, he headbutted a player, he doesnt get the best out of Ben arfa who we all know the beautiful goals he scored for us,he pardewed many good players, etc…
How will Ashley replace all these players in a transfer window when he struggles to bring a striker in 2 years??!!

I think there’s a big big problem between the manager and his players, they all seems lacking motivation, they want to leave the club. They are all competitors and will have the Cabaye’s thoughts.

On Ben arfa, I think he loves the club and the fans, the only way to stay for him is if Pardew goes. If he has some problems with others players, then its different, he will leave at all costs.

To conclude, we will not be able to replace all these departures, so the only solution is to get rid of Pardew, but I fear thats already too late, because even if pardew will go, maybe these players have already decided they will leave

    what do u think?

Pardew will proably nick a lucky win and a draw during the final games, leaving him with us for yet another season.

And with that we can probably wave goodbye to any creative players we have left, and say hello to a few new inexperienced lowbudget potatoes that fit anywhere on the field. Like a keeper/ leftback, or something. Can’t remember if we already have one of those.
