Moussa Sissoko is fit again, after recovering from his hamstring injury, and Mathieu Debuchy and Loic Remy will also be in the side to play at Arsenal on Monday night.
Moussa Sissoko -0 back on Monday night
Davide Santon and Papiss Cisse are both out for the season, and we’re not sure whether Luuk de Jong is fit for this game.
Shola Ameobi played quite well last Saturday against Swansea, and of course scored his first Premier League goal of the season. although we still found a way to lose that game 2-1.
But we don;t think Shola will start this game, and that Alan will play a modified 4-5-1 formation, to try to get a grip on the midfield.
Here’s a possible side for Monday night:
Debuchy Williamson Coloccini (c) Dummett
Sissoko Tiote Anita Gosling Gouffran
Alan Pardew could elect to play three at the back, and it could be that he starts Moussa on the bench.
And Ben Arfa is apparently fit – but for such a tough game we’d be surprised if he starts the game, but he’ll be on the bench.
But that looks to us like our strongest side for Monday night.
What would you team be against Arsenal?
