This Would Definitely Reignite Newcastle’s Season

It’s almost four years since Newcastle last won at the Emirates, and with Newcastle having lost five league games in a row, there doesn’t seem to be much chance of getting anything out of this game.

alan pardew press confernce

Alan Pardew – needs something like a shock win at Arsenal

And the Newcastle fans seem to agree with that, with only 7% thinking we can actually get a win tomorrow night.

How Will Newcastle Fare Against Crystal Palace?

View Results
Loading ... Loading ...

But something like a win tomorrow night is exactly what Alan Pardew and the players should be aiming for – to make up for what has been one terrible year so far for Newcastle United.

A win tomorrow night is exactly what the team and the fans need – so we can all start to look ahead to better times – certainly better than our terrible form over the last 18 games, when we have just four wins and thirteen defeats,

And Sunderland are doing themselves some good at the Stadium of Light today, and are 2-0 up at the half against Cardiff who are also down to 10 men, with Cala having been sent off just before the break.

He fouled Connor Wickham when he had a clear goal scoring opportunity and he was the last man, so that’s a red card offense.

However the foul was outside the box, but the referee gave the penalty (picky, picky) and Borini scored again.

Earlier in the game Connor Whickham got his 4th goal in the last three games with a good header for the Black Cats to put them 1-0 up after 26 minutes.

That’s what Newcastle need against Cardiff next Saturday – some luck – and a player sent off – even better would be two players sent off – just to make sure.

If Sunderland win today, they will be on 32 points and will be out of the relegation zone for the first time in a very long time – and they have three games to play (32+9=41), but they cannot catch Newcastle. 😀

Agree and tbh it’s disgusting the level of respect shown to the fans, they seem to think the fan base are simpletons who struggle to remember the day of the week it is let alone promises and targets laid out as fact at the start of the season
To think it was only 2 seasons ago we were gleefully being told that the our target was to break up the top 6, regularly challenge for Europa or CL and make Newcastle United an internationally recognised “brand”
In two short seasons that target has gone from CL to ensuring survival to top 10 to no no just be nice if we were up there

NUFC won’t score if Pardew thinks crossing it into the box is the best attacking option (again).

    HD,

I have said before, if Ashley was a racehorse owner, trainer or jockey he’d be warned off for life as a non-trier.
In many sports where heavy betting is involved there are rules to ensure that the punter is protected against non-competitors.
But in football there are a thousand perfectly legal ways to lose if that is what you prefer.

    My team would be:
    —————– Remy – Gouffran
    Haidarra – Anita – Tiote – Sissoko – Debuchy
    —– Collocini —– Willo —– Mbiwa
    ———————– Krul

    Fully agree
We may have found ourselves in worse situations on the pitch or financially or manager wise but never once have we had an owner who’s number 1 interest wasn’t the club

Everyone ever associated with the club has always always strived to make it all about the football
We’ve never been in a position where the fans the players the media has no idea what to say when the question of “what next” is asked

Ashley has no interest in the club the team or the supporters as long as he’s seeing the benefits it has to SD of which were now merely an extension
I can’t remember ever feeling so detached, distanced and tbh disinterested in our club and really can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel
We all know MA should act, we all know MA could act, we all know MA won’t act

Ok, then the interview Joe Kinnear had last summer was a hoax as well I suppose? him saying he’s meeting with Mike Ashley on the yacht.

Ok, when you wake up to reality let me and everyone here know, until then don’t reply to any of my comments because from now on ill just ignore every single one.

For me Ashley is worse than Lerner

because one he is at NUFC and AVFC is not my concern.

In Lerner at least in my eyes the manager is decent and who can get the best out.

    TADS,

    Another question I keep asking.
When did anyone EVER see Sports Direct upgrade a product line? What is happening to us is their business model exactly. Keep the name and turn out a travesty of the product in its place.

PS …I would take the lad up on his offer there (if I were you)

They had multiple meetings. I never claimed what they said, I claimed that they had massive arguments with various important meetings arranged at the yacht.

Did I ever post a script of what each of them said? No.

Where did you hear what happened on the yacht? As in not the transcript, just the gist of them all falling out?

Just curious as to if it was in a paper, magazine, forum?

(not having a dig, just curious why you defend it so much when i’d not heard a thing before you mentioned it and can’t find anything on it.

Poyet has been there 5 minutes and helped them off the bottom by playing positive attacking football…and that’s after inheriting an absolute shambles from Di Canio..

I really just can’t see why Carr is arguing with pardew. He is a scout, he should just look where and for what he is told.

If the manager/club ask for a target man he should find one, if they ask for a tricky winger he should find one…it’s his job to look for players, not dictate style of play.

I don’t think poyet is in the same league as rogers or maybe martinez, but he is a huge upgrade on pardew.

Graham Carr scouts players for years for his beloved club just to see Pardew ruin them and blame the players never blame himself.

Pardew going behind Graham Carr’s back without speaking to him manly 1 to 1 about how he wants more english players that are suited to his hoofball tactics.

Pardew numerous times tried to persuade Mike Ashley to buy players he think is appropriate.

Mike gave him one chance first with transfer of Obertan and it failed.

Also, Graham Carr is a very close friend to Mike Ashley, so either way Mike was never letting Graham Carr leave the club just for his stupid decision making situations.

Graham Carr looks to have a deeper role than just be a scout mate, he is Head Scout and also does other stuff for the club. Hes Mike’s most trusted man in the club now that Llambias has gone.

This is why the situation of him joining the board and wanting to become more involved for a big summer overhaul makes sense. Pardew has admitted what fans have known for ages that his job is under the line and he’s pretty much gone mate.

You can choose to believe me or choose to see it as false information, that is upto you. I’am in no way forcing you or anyone to believe what I have written here.
