Alan Pardew – let us know your position
I probably screwed up in the poll yesterday and confused people, since my initial headline in the article was different from the poll question being asked – in fact it was the opposite – I did change it to be the same later, but that could be confusing to people.
I’ve had notes from readers saying it was all confusing, so I have scrapped that poll and we’ll start again.
I was at fault there.
If you vote yes in this poll then you want Pardew replaced as Newcastle manager.

Shot Bru,
It is not lost on the rest of the footballing world the way Pardew has been treat yet still manages to tow the line, Mrs Doubtfire dedicated a win to his chairman after he bought him two strikers, Pardew done the same after being sh@t on after two barren windows, any manager coming in will know the circus we have become, people were willing to work under Shepherd and his trigger happy finger because they knew they’d have money to spend, footballers operate in tight circles they will all know what Mike Ashley is about.

Comment #2What Poyet has done is quite remarkable.
8 points adrift when he arrived with a c–p squad, he gets them playing football, reaches a final, a quarter final and still has time to escape relegation ! Could you imagine Pardew pulling that off.
The muppets (they know who they are) who trashed Poyet and Martinez should be feeling pretty stupid now.
Couldn’t imagine them calling Pellegrini, a manager on another planet to the glazier, a f—–g c—t and head butting a player either.
Pardew and Ashley = zero class.

Comment #4Very wise words, Rotunda , as always. But sadly you are wasting your time, the deluded idiots who still believe in Pardew wont changer their blind mind, and I m pretty sure that cnt sht will still be in charge next year, and sink the club for good.

Having so many (class?) internationals in a team would be any managers dream!
Pards definitely not got the best out of them.
But in his defence if he’d had a decent forward line to toy with he’d probably of become a living Toon legend.
Every team has found it difficult to compete in all areas this season and the league defiantly not gonna get any easier.
Last year Man Utd only won because of one Man .. RVP
This year Liverpool dominated with SAS partnership.
Chelsea & Arsenal haven’t exceeded in every game mainly the latter coz of injury.
However, the question was ‘is pards the man’?’
I’ll see after game on Sunday .. And let’s please give some of the youngens a start??

Comment #7Keep PARDS! Keep stability and give him another season. Pardew didn’t sell our best players and he’s done well with what we have. 9th for the squad we have is fair. People need to realize we can’t compete with the top 6 financially, we have to build with stability, youth and smart transfers. Firing and hiring every year got us relegated. This man was manager of the year, got us to top 5 and for the most part uses the best players we have in the right way. He’s not perfect but Moyes or anyone else will not do any better with the hand being dealt from the top
