Tomas Kalas – Mourinho wants him to get first team games on loan

Kalas was the 21 year-old who made his debut for Chelsea in the match at Liverpool, where he had an excellent game, and looked like he had been playing for the Chelsea first team for years.

He’s played for all the Czech Republic youth sides, and once for the full Czech side, and has been at Chelsea since 2010, when he signed on for a reported £5.2M, from Sigma Olomouc, but stayed there on loan for the following 2010–2011 season.

Jose Mourinho wants his player to get some first team games next season, and a loan spell at Newcastle United may do the trick, but Hull City and Aston Villa are also interested.

There have also been several Bundesliga clubs, who are keen to take him on loan next season, and the 6′ tall player can also play at right back.

Kalas was on loan at Dutch club Vitesse from 2011 to 2013 and played 58 times for them in total.

He seems to be an up and coming defender, and Newcastle need to bring in defensive reinforcements this summer, since we’ve conceded 65 goals and 59 goals in the last two Premier league seasons.

That’s simply far too many goals to concede, if we want to finish in the top six.

Comments welcome.

    from previous thread

Ashton, taking Cisse out of the central position was a mistake, or it seemed to be at the time, but in fairness Cisse has had many chances since and has failed to take them, we had a season without a goal scorer and we nearly went down, Ba has and does score goals, sorry but its a no brainer, if we can get him then we should, simple as, as we can hardly rely on Cisse can we.

indeed it will, but having said that you are also 2 days late bonny lad, so if you want to make it up you can, it’s dead easy, all you have to do is get a consortium to buy out Mike Ashley, job done, easy as that, you could then sack Pardew and still you would get me grovelling at your feet, I’m not bothered about Pardew just get rid of that cancer as it is slowly but surely killing our club, as a bonus when ever you come over to watch the game you can stay overnight at my house free of charge, I’d even throw in a full English breakfast as well, now there’s an offer you can’t refuse lol

@DokToon Yes. And in case you somehow missed it, so is just about every other club in the world. Barca and Real Madrid are about the only teams you ever hear of not having their best players pryed away from them by offers of huge money; and thats because they are usually the ones to make those offers.

This will be the pattern for next season. A sell-off of players to be replaced by cheapies and loanees.
