Update – Newcastle Picking Up Steam In Transfer Market

9:05 am, Friday, June 6th, 2014 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 112 Comments

There’s been some good news over the last few days for Newcastle in the transfer market, and it seems we have our first signing of the summer in Ayoze Perez, a 20 year-old right winger from Tenerife, and it’s likely his signing will be announced today.

ayoze perez 2

Ayoze Perez shown with Peter Beardsley yesterday
Ayoze brought the sunshine

And it’s almost certain that we have won the race to sign Jack Colback from Sunderland as a free agent, and we think Jack will turn out to be a great singing for us.

Add to that the fact that Sky Sports is reporting we are at an advanced stage with Montpellier to sign top midfield target Remy Cabella, and things are starting to pick up on Tyneside.

Sky Sports is also reporting that Newcastle are in the driver’s seat to finally sign long-term target Bafe Gomis from Lyon, and he’s another free agent – what a saga it’s been with Bafe over the last eighteen months or so. 🙁

There’s confusion about whether we bid for 27 year-old Leeds United captain and striker Ross McCormack, but it seems we could also be after the Championship Player of the Season – Danny Ings of Burnley – who was top scorer in the Championship last season.

Danny has only one year left on his contract, and he doesn’t seem too keen to sign a new deal at the Turf Moor Club.

Add to that the fact we are reported to be very interested in bringing 22 year-old German striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga of Hertha Berlin, and 25 year-old midfielder Siem de Jong – the Ajax captain – to Newcastle this summer, and we seem to be going after some very decent players this summer.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating of course, and we’ll need to see who we can get into the club this summer, but we could have some decent signings before the World Cup starts in Brazil next Thursday.

And that would be good news.

Comments welcome.

Actually Ings was the 6th top scorer, and the pic with Beardsley was first shown yesterday, but was taken at least two weeks ago.

  • 2 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:11 AM

Well its about friggin time Ed that we actually made an impression on the transfer market.
The squad needs over hauling big time as it’s been run down to the bare bones. Although a big hit in the championship, Im still unsure on Mcormack or Ings. I doubt any of the top 6 teams in the PL will be looking at this calibe of player so why should we, If we are to start to challenge these teams !!

  • 3 Average_Contents // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:14 AM

If that’s the case it serves us right for fcuking about in the first place mate, we’ve had since January to try and get it sorted and maybe even last summer when they knew cabs wanted to leave!

Unprofessional, underprepared and a joke of a transfer policy with the added bonus of putting in lowball offers whilst other clubs snatch them away!

    Fcuking disgrace

  • 4 catchy in norway // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:16 AM

I rate colbeck, he has been one of sunderlands unsung heros if u ask me

and like I say , I don’t trust we will ever see the players we buy show there talent under pardew,

so for me , messi or colbeck , bale or Perez , it’s all the same , they will be asked JUST to do a job for the team , no thinking for them selfs

    defend defend defend

  • 5 Average_Contents // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:17 AM

I thought that too, it must of been when there were rumours he was here a couple of weeks ago because there’s been no mention of him being here since

  • 6 BuckLuck // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:19 AM

I agree with you. No matter who we buy or how much money we use the players will always be held back by Pardew. Some class players will be able to produce, like Cabaye and Remy, because it’s printed in their genes. But all in all we will have 11 players under achieving as long as Pardew is here. The exeptions might be Williamson and perhaps Perch(read limited and ancient footballers).

The best investment in this window would easily be to allocate £15m from the transfer budget and use it to sack Pardew and to get a new manager and backroom staff.

    Pardew out!

  • 7 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:22 AM

According to La Provence, Marseille have made an official bid for Montpellier attacking midfielder Remy Cabella, which has been turned down by the club because it was too low.

Cabella, who is in talks with Newcastle, was told by Montpellier that they would be rejecting the €8m offer that Marseille made for him. OM are now likely to give up on this target, being judged as too expensive.

The player is widely expected to be included in France’s World Cup Squad in some capacity in Brazil, with both Clement Grenier and Franck Ribery most likely to have to quit the squad through injury.

It just gets better and better Jazzy lol

  • 9 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:25 AM

yeah I agree totally mate. Weve had 6month to tie this lad down to a deal and are still p@ssing in the wind.
Marseille have gone in for the lad now which throws a spanner in the works. All we can hope for is that he has set his heart on Nufc if the media are to be believed

  • 10 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:26 AM

According to La Provence, Marseille have contacted Newcastle central defender Mapou Yanga MBiwa about a possible move.

The player has has failed negotiations with both Lille and Bordeaux, after he was judged to have asked for too great a salary.

Marseille are thought to have merely enquired about the player at the time of writing

the smoke and mirrors is at it again
we will see when they cross the dotted line

  • 12 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:28 AM

Some good news this morning then, not sure paying £8m for Ings who untested and unproven at this level is a good idea…especially considering he has 1 year left on his contract.

Cabella yes please, Gomis…we need a striker and believe we will sign 1 more CF, I personally think the guy would do well here but I’m also certain I heard he was off to Fenerbache.

Colback is what he is, lets hope he’s as good as some think he is on here because we will be selling Santon or Haidara to accommodate this lad

I think we will breakeven this window again only time will tell, expect some of the lads to be shipped out but probably not before this extension to the SEASON TICKET window closes…..strange how this news coincides with that particular news. Lambs to the slaughter

  • 13 spitfire_ // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:28 AM

Our spending spree are began with a bang!

  • 14 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:28 AM

I for one am happy we’re clearly showing some interest in signings. I would take ings because he’s young enough and has a real chance of stepping up. Also perez may be from a lower league but he can clearly find the net and provide some assists, he’s a good buy for the price.
Colback will likely be the next perchinho as Pardew will probably plug him in any gap on either flank or in cdm through to cam.
Gomis I’m not sold on, he could be the replacement for shola! Haha
Siem de Jong? If we really are interested and we get him it’ll be interesting to see what he can do. As long as he’s better than his brother

  • 15 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:31 AM

Maybe you have a point buddy as in the style of play under Pardew last season. Personally I think Willo had his best season for us since he has been here. And I think statistically Debs was the best right back in Europe, So they are positives.
but our attacking playas you rightly say leaves a lot to be desired

  • 16 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:33 AM

    Jazzy P

Marseille bid 8m Euros which is what our first offer was as well. since then we’ve apparently upped it to 10m Euros but not made a formal offer….whatever that means

  • 17 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:33 AM

Can this be us.. I hope so .. although it would mean Debuchy is away but this is a way a well run club works .. have the replacement in first ..

“Arsenal target Serge Aurier has opened talks with another English side, according to the Toulouse defender’s agent. “

    Our toon
Do you think that will be enough tho pal as The mad hatter wants 15 mill euros for the kid.
Personally I hope we can attract this sort of player to the toon still even after our poor showing the second half of last season

  • 20 KingNash // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:36 AM

Perez, McCormack and Ings were not exactly the strikers I had in mind, but we need numbers right now seeing as we will employ more full backs (7) than centrebacks and strikers combined (6) next season.

Siem De Jong is a fanatastic player, bright, can pick a pass, is a hard worker and could be a talisman. Very Cabaye like

  • 21 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:36 AM

Hope that’s us but I highly doubt it. Debuchy will leave though

  • 22 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:37 AM

from what the media are saying I think that’s Liverpool mate !!

  • 23 Scottiedog // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:39 AM

I can see it being £10 euros for Cabella with Marveaux going the other way free.

BTW Ings & Arma up front next year!!!! Come on!!

  • 24 Dannyo // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:39 AM

Yes. There was a tour in the stadium that day, and a follower told me on twitter a friend had seen him taking pics on that day, but was told they were not allowed to film it or take pics.

  • 25 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:40 AM

looks like its Liverpool … how we have fallen under this shambles of a management team .. Ashley thinks buying players is like buying cheap tat from Sports Direct .. if you buy the right player, their price goes up .. haggling too much over a quality player is just plain nonsense.

  • 26 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:40 AM

    Jazzy P

I think £9m would be enough, cash upfront and not in installments!! They need money as well apparently. Call me cynical but all this news is on the back of an extension to the season ticket window, looks like we seem to be doing enough to keep fans happy but without really doing anything!! Especially if Leeds Chairman is to be believed

  • 27 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:42 AM

jazzyp .. issue with french teams now is wages .. they need to pay double us to compete .. unless its Monaco or PSG competing against us if we pay the going rate he’s ours.

  • 28 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:46 AM

    Our toon
Its nice to have a bit of optimism on the blog mate for a change do you not agree ??
I see how the Season ticket extention can look, and all of a sudden player rumours are abound. but just hope for the best mate. If and I know it’s a big if we could bring in cabella….Siem dj and a quality forward without losing anyone then I only see that as a positive pal !!

  • 29 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:49 AM

I hope your right bud….Would be a cracking signing for Nufc.
Although injured would ya put a cheeky bid in for Greneir now as well. By all accounts Lyon have until the 20th of this month to raise 20 mill euros. So either Lacazette or greneir may have to be sold before the world cup starts

  • 30 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:53 AM

jazzyp .. depends on the injury .. but yes lacazette and grenier .. would love the both although Grenier is one of those hard to work with players and not the fastest .. but he has bags of ability .. both of them can only improve our team though., would also like that PSG youngster as well

  • 31 Shaker // Jun 6, 2014 at 9:54 AM

Don’t know much about Colback as i don’t watch sunderland if i can help it but i know this : 1) his club wanted to keep him 2) their fans are gutted hes leaving 3) hes a geordie 4) he has been the best midfielder 3 times running when playing against cabaye, tiote and anita. We could have done with him last year, i think hes probably a step up fdom Anita

  • 34 jayphoto // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:03 AM

Just a thought but surely Ayoze Perez should be into the first team squad? Hes 20, has had a full season of football where hes excelled! The lads a talent, just surprised hes considered not ready for the first team squad, hope hes developed the right way

  • 35 catchy in norway // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:07 AM

    I agree

I really don’t want to offend you and if you think Willo had a good season , the good for you, but in reality he had a shocking season, for these reasons

he is 6ft 4, yet for me he might as well be 5ft4, he puts a defensive header on the ball and it goes anywhere , he does not seem to think about where the ball will end up,

against good CF they out muscle him and / or just run around him

free kicks all go towards him, yet I have never seen him attack the ball as if he wants it, steven taylor is a numpty, but he wants to win the ball any way he can,

his passing out of defence , can we call it passing, he can pass it side ways, our whole team seems great at that, but more often than not, he just lumps it long and we don’t have anyone up front, to receive it

my personal opinion is the team sinks to his level, he has not had a good season, we conceded way to many goals and he was the one who played in most of them

debuchy, pure quality, some of the balls he puts into the box, amazing, will run all day for you,

what gets me is, cabaye, he was quality on the ball, but when you team him up with willo as his main target, we are just wasting good opportunities. its like ground hog day every match

  • 36 Belfast // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:10 AM

Reserve squad by the looks of it.

First I’ve heard about Danny Ings not wanting to sign a new deal Ed ?

If he’s any sense he’ll stay where he is tbh at least for another season.

  • 37 catchy in norway // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:11 AM

like I said up above, I rate colback, every time I have watched him play, he has been there best player, he is twice the player jorden Henderson is, and he went for crazy money,
    puts his foot in
seems to be a good passer
scores goals in a poor team
gets the ball and drives forward

    I for one welcome him,

  • 38 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:14 AM

Probably how poor we were last season maybe did make willo look like a star performer. Personally last summer when Swansea were sniffing around I was one of those hoping he would be sold. But to his credit although not the most gifted CB we have had grace SJP I think out of the back four….Along with Debs he was the best out of the bunch

  • 39 jayphoto // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:14 AM

@catchy – yeah i agree, think he’ll be a good signing! Be nice to sign a player at the right age that doesn’t need time to adapt to the league!
Also, since when can you have too many geordies in the squad! Putting my neck out here but if he signs and plays centre midfield where he is strongest I think he’ll be a future captain!

  • 40 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:14 AM

    Jazzy P

I’m trying to be positive but seen this all to many times to be optimistic!! Best way is to expect little and get surprised rather than expect a lot and be disappointed or satisfied.

  • 41 jayphoto // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:16 AM

Watching a few videos on Ayoze Perez (bit of dennis wise scouting) hes really really similar in style to Loic Remy! Very cool headed, bit lethargic but with good pace, nice finisher, quite unselfish too!
Seems very un-spanish in his style

  • 42 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:17 AM

Colback on a 5 year deal. Must have high hopes for this lad then !!

  • 43 toonarmydownsouth // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:18 AM

@NUFCTheMag: Curtis Good To Replace Departing Newcastle Defender(s)

  • 44 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:23 AM

he played well against us no doubting that mate, how much of that is an element of the fact he’s playing against the team he probably supports, by that notion we should have have signed Graham Fenton when he scored 2 for Blackburn against us.

Colback played for a good ATTACKING manager who’s philosophy was to attack, he got the best out of Connor Wickham and Fabio Borini, these players aren’t world beaters but Poyet got the best out of them, ask yourself would Percy do the same with JC. The fact that is was between us, WHU and a couple of the promoted teams doesn’t fill me with great confidence mate. Surely if he was as good as Henderson then teams would be all over him seeing as he’s free.

Can see us selling 1 of Debuchy, Santon or Tiote this window!! Have a feeling we will want to cash.

  • 45 jayphoto // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:23 AM

Curtis Good looks a decent bet! Saw the aussie manager saying he was in the WC squad before injury and would have been important. Hes also looked steely, robust and with decent ball skills on his loan spells. Personally quite like Aussie players they seem to do well in england! Thought craig moore when he played was one of our better centre half in recent years (though weve had some shockers) and Viduka was sublime when you could get him on the pitch (tho that wasnt often)

  • 46 lesh // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:23 AM

  • 48 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:31 AM

Im sorry mate but Viduka along with a few more didn’t give a flying toss about Nufc when we went down. He was here for no more than his last big pay day.
Agree on Good though looks a good prospect. Makes you wonder if Streete is ever going to make the grade tho pal as he seems to be there or there abouts every season

  • 49 JAMSHA // Jun 6, 2014 at 10:43 AM

In fairness mate in his first season he wasn’t to bad .But should have hung up his boots at the end of that season. His 2nd season with us the guy could hardly run bless him when he did play. Even Kinnear said he should retire.
Like I say was after one last big pay day.

Its being reported that we are in Advanced negotiations now with Montpellier, But they are wanting to hold the deal up till after the world cup because it looks like Cabella is off to the world cup. And are hoping this will make the players stock rise in valuation

  • 57 Malta Mag // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:03 AM

The moment we announce the Cabella deal is in advanced talks I’m afraid my sceptism kicks in because the whole world gets to know our business. I do however believe we will be bringing in players and I have rated Colbeck for some time now so I’m pleased we’ve pulled that one off, or so it seems? What I’ve seen of Gomis it would seem he’s an upgraded Shola? I hope I’m wrong!!!!!

  • 58 cestriasteve // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:04 AM

has anyone done a stats comparison between Cabaye pre newcastle and Cabella? it will be interesting. Cabella has scored a lot more goals I suspect.

On Siem de Jong, Ive been a big fan for a couple of years now, but is he quick enough, fast brain but slow feet.

  • 59 Siremre5 // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:05 AM

    haha, from THE SUN??

  • 60 jazzyp // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:07 AM

Sorry pal cant remember that particular goal. The only decent game I can remember him having is when we beat Middlesbrough 3-1.
When you think back it just shows how far back Strolla was in the pecking order then. And yet he has been used more as an forward than before.
just shows how desperate we have become for a top CF who we can actually tie down to stay at the club

Ideally, I’d get Cabella and Siem De Jong (£20m tops in total) plus any combination of the following strikers; Lacazette, Gomis, Lasogga, Ings.

Rate this Perez from what you can see on Youtube (i know its not reliable) and what people have said. Colback could do a decent job as a Perch replacement and for use in games where we will be on the back foot as he’ll run everywhere.

  • 65 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:20 AM

Apparently Nicolin is offering Cabella to other clubs and trying to get a bidding war going…the only issue for him is that no one else seems to be interested. Rumour has it that we have bid 10m euros for the lad so time will Jamsha

Gomis and Shola are big lads but have very different games, i don’t get why fans try to compare the 2, Gomis plays on the shoulder where as Shola is more back to goal. No comparison lads.

Inter Milan have bid £10m for Hernandez, apparently that’s enough to sell the kid…absolute bargain for him if that’s true

  • 66 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:20 AM

strange we’re not in for Diego Capel

  • 67 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:21 AM

Our Toon .. big wages .. light weight player .. don’t fancy him at Newcastle theres better out there IMO

  • 68 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:25 AM

Light weight? Guaranteed 20 goals a season striker. Clever CF, class finisher who has excellent movement off the ball, something we have been lacking for some time. Can’t imagine his wages being more than Remy’s reported amount. £80k and wouldn’t say Cisse or Remy are stronger than him

  • 69 Krul To Be Kind // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:25 AM

I wouldn’t worry about Cabella going to the WC and his stock rising considerably. If he does go instead of Grenier he will be used sparingly and just there as a squad member so won’t get much playing time to shine and increase his value… if €10m is the price being talked about then it will still be €10m after the WC!

Relax lads, we are being linked with the right players at the moment, I personally don’t think we have the negotiators to pull of a swift deal which is causing the prolonged saga’s.

They done a comparison back in jan somewhere (the journal) and there stats were very similar with Cabella edging the goals (and assists?) but slightly lower success rate at tackling
The passing rate was near on identical

  • 81 toonarmydownsouth // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:48 AM

Couldn’t find the article, which is annoying as it was a good read and highlighted there strengths and weaknesses but found this little chart as a rough guide

  • 82 Ancientcoptic // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:50 AM

There are some good theoretical starting 11s in the above comments, but for me, I would happily drop Tiote. Apart from having a few good games with the Captains armband on, for me has has looked dire for the past few years. Tiote panics under pressure and gets caught on the ball, attempts to dribble like a Brazilian on occasions, and… we all know about his Hollywood efforts on goal. Do not get me wrong, I think Tiote is a great guy, and if football was based on heart and personality, he would be first on the sheet – but I find his contribution pointless. Anybody can run around after a ball, yes Tiote is quite good at it, but is it difficult to have a player good at intercepting, that can actually do other things.

  • 83 toonarmydownsouth // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:50 AM

    Would be a decent signing
Would still love Lacazette, Great player, young and we need a goal scorer and OM are skint and desperately need a pay day loan!
Sounds like a match made in heaven right?

  • 84 cestriasteve // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:51 AM

You reckon Cabaye added to his tackling strengths when he came to us? its my only reservation about Cabella.

  • 85 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:54 AM

Linked with Luis Muriel or Fruto .. Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto .. what a name .. thats some stick he’ll get .. still a good player …

  • 86 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:55 AM

cestriasteve . .cabaye was always a good tackler .. cabella seems a different style .. looks a good bit pacier than Cabaye but is more lightweight.

  • 87 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:56 AM

JAMSHA .. lovren yes .. caulker .. not sure .. very slow on the turn .. other than that he’s good ..

  • 88 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:59 AM

Jamsha I didn’t. I settled for able hernandez and jese Rodriguez.

  • 89 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 11:59 AM

probably complete lies about Muriel being linked ..

  • 90 toonarmydownsouth // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:01 PM

Tough to say mate, Cabs always loved putting in a tough tackle and admitted he liked playing a bit deeper
Cabella is really a proper number 10 creative skilful but a bit more lightweight

  • 91 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:04 PM

    Team is 4-1-2-1-2
    Di sciglio savic mbiwa Santon
    Deulofeu sissoko
    Jese a.hernandez

  • 92 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:05 PM

Sweendog yeah it was lies. I was joking

  • 93 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:08 PM

It’s my Bullshit rumour of the day

  • 94 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:12 PM

Tiote is a ball winner mate, his job is to do the running around without the ball and challenging the opposition, something every team needs. Makelele was probably the best at this type of position, the only difference with Claude is that he rarely got over the halfway line but was a class act.

  • 95 Our Toon // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:14 PM

Yeah I think Cabella and Cabaye are very different players, Cabella is more of an attacking midfielder and Cabaye is more of a complete midfielder. He wouldn’t be a direct replacement for Cabaye but possibly more of a replacement for HBA

  • 96 Pardews Prolific Boys // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:15 PM

Our toon makalele was the master like

  • 97 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:18 PM

Pardews Prolific Boys .. yep it’ll be on twitter soon and Colin will have him in the Jesmond..

  • 98 lesh // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:21 PM

    sweendog….. That story’s rubbish.

Me Aunty Muriel’s happily settled on the Fairways Estate!

She’s too owld to move anyway.

  • 99 lesh // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:24 PM

Sweendog, if you read the article, Muriel says he wants to play for a bigger club, claiming that Swansea and Hull are interested in him.

  • 100 cestriasteve // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:27 PM

Ive seen a lot of him, I reckon Pardew must be wanting to play with a 5 man midfield and 1 up front to accommadate him.

  • 101 JamesToon // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:29 PM

Wouldn’t mind seeing this for our transfer window:
Krul, Debuchy, M’Biwa, Jonas, Obertan, Ferguson, Amalfitano, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Vuckic, Anita.

Forster, Richards/Jenkinson, Caulker/Lascelles, Colback, Rodwell Cabella, Zaha, Townsend, Siem de Jong, Lacazette, Perez, Ings

I think Pardew will line us up in a 4-4-2 formation like the one from 11/12

    de Jong

  • 102 sweendog // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:30 PM

yep we’ve no chance competing against Hull or Swansea .. 🙂 .. supposed to be a joke but now I’m freaked out that that statement could actually be true ..

  • 103 JamesToon // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:31 PM

i like cabella he’s what we need, a quick, skilful and as you say creative winger who can also play behind the striker, he has what Benny hasn’t got.

  • 104 JamesToon // Jun 6, 2014 at 12:32 PM

Would love muriel bit of south american flair

  • 110 belgrade fan // Jun 6, 2014 at 1:22 PM

You will see stories like this every day before 14th when is last day for idiots to re buy season tickets. Then it will be like last 2 summers. Where is Cabella, S D Jong, etc. We signed some kid from spanish secunda and Colbeck bcs he was on free. We r always in advanced stage but never finalized. dont be stypid, same trick MA is using every window

  • 111 robertsleftfoot // Jun 6, 2014 at 5:30 PM

I see your talking absolute dribble in comment one, picture taken two weeks ago mate, jog on you cretin

  • 112 Davies // Jun 6, 2014 at 8:55 PM

Belgrade – LOVE the irony of spelling stupid incorrectly. LOVE it.

As for this, we’ll buy who we buy. That’s it. That’s all we know. Sometimes we buy well, sometimes we buy duds and sometimes we don’t buy at all.

Hardly worth so much bile and anger, and it’s more than a little unfair to call people idiots for renewing their season tickets. Some people just want to watch a match. Admittedly, it is frustrating watching a sub par team, but it is what it is.

Geographically, it’s not possible for me to be at St James’s 19 times a year, but if it was, I’d be there every time. That’s just me, of course and I know I don’t speak for everyone.

    Just saying.
