There are some reports in France that Newcastle are interested in Rennes’ 6′ tall 18 year-old center-back Sega Coulibaly.
Sega Coulibaly – Newcastle watching this player
This is the first time we’ve been linked with the player who has represented France at various Youth Levels, and in 17 games for the U16, U17 and U18 sides he has scored three goals.
Last season he played 11 full games for Rennes and he turns 19 on July 1st.
There’s not too much more news in the French reports on Coulibaly, other than Newcastle are interested in the player and have been watching him,
And if he is signed by the Magpies he would probably be part of the Development squad as one for the future, but this is the age at which Newcastle should be signing good up-and-coming young players
Newcastle have had the player watched a number of times this year, when he has played for the Rennes first team, and he apparently is keen to move to England.
We expect Newcastle to sign five or six top senior players this summer (hopefully – fingers crossed), but in addition there should be four or five top youngsters joining the club, and 20 year-old Ayoze Perez, already signed from Tenerife, is one example of one of these young up and coming players
Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Brom are also credited with an interested in the young French center-back.

Comment #7Debuchy playing so high up the pitch for France.
Spends most of the time as a winger and even a right wing forward at times.
Well, thats Alan Pardew for ya.
