Newcastle striker target Pierre-Michel Lasogga of Hertha Berlin was supposed to be deciding his future this week, and Sky Sports is reporting the 22 year-old German striker has already visited Newcastle United, but that he has not had a medical, as was reported earlier, but that news of his visit is at least encouraging.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga – Hertha Berlin striker
The purpose of his secret visit was of course for the young German striker to take a look at Newcastle’s training ground and the magnificent St. James’ Park stadium, which will be impressive to any potential new signing for Newcastle United.
There was news in Germany that a decision was expected from the striker as early as Sunday, but that decision seems to have been delayed, although Sky Sports is reporting that a decision is still expected later this week.
And of course Newcastle are hoping it will be us – because this lad would be a great signing for Newcastle United.
The Sky Sports report is that Newcastle are even confident of signing the young German before the end of this coming week.
We hope that news becomes reality.
Howay The Lads!!

Comment #2Sorry Ed. He’s heading off to a hotel in London next, will not be answering the phone to an 0191 number, won’t be answering the door and will be signing a five year deal with QPR on Wednesday.
