Newcastle Start Season With Another Tough Game

Newcastle United start next season with another tough fixture against Manchester City, but at least this season it’s at home, and we expect a sell out for that first home game.

nufc emblem
We’ve lost all 8 games against Manchester City since we returned to the Premier League in the summer of 2010, after one season down below.

We are at home to Sunderland on December 20th, and then at the Stadium of Light on 4th April, so after three successive defeats we’ll be just a little nervous about those games – but perhaps Jack Colback can get us a few goals. 😀

Here’s the full fixture lost for Newcastle – which has just been announced::

I doubt Pea is available with Lewandowski moving on. But would have preferred him over Lasogga all day long

Sad state of affairs when we are already looking how we are going to survive in the PL next season without even kicking a ball.
I think that shows how low everyone’s morale is at present

its a sad state of affairs
I don’t think any1 has faith the club will bring in the right players

and then we have the pardew factor will he be able to find a way to win with more or less what we have now
looking at last season nope (trying not to spark a debate on the man)

If we show no signs of trying to bring in players I do believe the likes of Debs and co will look to move on.
We couldn’t cope last season never mind the fact that we have lost another 6 players since the start of last season.
I do often wonder why Carr has actually stuck around if all his hard work goes unheeded

That’s the really worrying thing we just don’t look like to be bringing in quality, free transfers and unknowns is our business model these days it seems, just can not ever see us spending say 10-12 million on any one player no wonder our morale is so low, and it’s true unless we show some ambition our top stars probably will move on and that leaves pardew with a weaker team. this summer window is huge for us if we don’t wake up I fear the worst I really do.

Yeah but he’s still fit enough to travel Europe scouring for them hidden gems. My point is why Ashley sanctions these trips around the world for our scouting network when as of late has no intention on signing anyone.
The squad at present compared to last season is in a worst state. Pardew knows that and so does the hierarchy. I don’t for one minute believe that Mashley wants championship football, So I still hold hope he will bring in quality signings for the new season ahead

December is going to be excruciatingly bleak. Can always count on the Premier League to ruin your festive period.

It will be amplified chaos if we don’t beat Sunderland on the 20th and, to be frank, I can’t see Pardew surviving a third straight defeat at SJP.

Not to mention it’s pretty reckless of the Premier League to pencil that fixture in just five days shy of Christmas when the town will be swarming with shoppers.

we have had ages to sort out most these problems
we should have bought Remy’s replacement by now

we knew what our income was going to be worse case back in jan we knew worse case we would be 10th so our budget could have been established and we could have got a lot our deals done early

same with the quality free’s that were available the likes of hunt I don’t think we can buy until the likes of marveax and obatan are off the wages

players like obatan marveax staylor benny they don’t play for what ever reason and there wages together are nearly 10mill a year that’s a lot on players that don’t make the bench most weeks problem for us is no1 wants them

Transfer business done before World Cup ‘ey?

Aren’t we a lucky set of fans.

The ambition of a development player and a free squad padding of Colback will set pulses racing for the new season.
That, on top of the last two windows without a signing and an imbecile as a manager still.

    More demonstrations needed.

People refer to Pardews failings by saying we have the best squad in years, it is a misconception, we may have the best first eleven in years but certainly not the best squad, if you continually sell more players than you sign you cannot possibly have a balanced squad, someone pointed out yesterday our cover at RB yesterday, one of them was an injured right sided midfielder, who to my knowledge has never played at RB (memory might not serve me well mind) but at a perilous time as an emergency LB for a time, the other is a player who has been given numerous chances and still only proved himself at league one level, a good squad would have had Danny Simpson on the wage he wanted prepared to sit on the bench and fight it out with Debuchy, look how Willo improved with competition. We have constantly been five players short for a while now, it can only be to try and keep the wage bill down rather than a well thought out strategy.

I wonder if we will be demonstrating again come the last home game against west ham.
I don’t see in any shape or form how we going to survive with the current squad. if we are relying on players like Raylor-Ameobie-Marvs -Good to step up to the plate then I see only one direction this club will be heading

I think carr is searching out for the perez type players at the moment players of high potential and low cost 1 2 mill thought we might have bought a couple more for the development team
but the perez deal shouldn’t come out of the main transfer kitty isn’t part of the Wonga deal made up of paying for development players

I bet there will be a full house though pal with no sign of boycott’s for the City game !!
As for Carr searching for players with upcoming potential, I seriously think that he should be honing all his knowledge and eye for talent on the first team as this is where we need it most at present.
