The Express is reporting today that Wilfried Zaha, who has been linked with Newcastle this summer, wants his former club Crystal Palace to take him back and end the misery he has put up with at Manchester United for about a year now.
Wilfried Zaha – wants to return to Crystal Palace?
Wilfried was signed by the Red Devils for around £14M in January of last year, but was allowed to stay at Crystal Palace until last summer, as he helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
And new manager Tony Pulis kept the club in England’s top league with 45 points in 11th place, just one place below Newcastle.
The former England Under-21 winger wants Palace to come in for him and take him back to London, after he played only 4 games in last season’s tumultuous term at Manchester with David Moyes in charge.
In January he went on loan to Cardiff City where he played 11 times, but it seems new manager Louis van Gaal doesn’t want to keep the England U21 winger, and he is available for transfer.
With Newcastle close to tying up a move for Montpellier winger Remy Cabella, maybe Newcastle will not in interested in trying to get the skillful England U21 winger, although he could come in a cut price deal at maybe half of what the Red Devils paid for him.
What do you think?
Note: Sean Borland has a student season ticket and since he will be away in Calgary studying for a while, he wants to sell his season ticket for the first half of the season. The price is £140, which is what he paid for it – you can contact Sean at email@example.com
