Is This Really Newcastle’s Third Strip?

The following illustration is doing the rounds on the Internet, and it looks like a third kit for Newcastle could be the blue and green one on the right.

We don’t particularly like the colors or the design – but what do you think?

Best news I have heard all year ! He should get nowhere near a Toon bench never mind on the pitch ever again !! Terrible player and only gets let away with things because he is local !!!

If so: I actually kind of like it. Reminds me of the hideousness of the late 80s.

Saylor is always regarded as a local lad, but wasn’t he actually born in Greenwich?

I quite like this kit … has a classic feel to it ! Would rather see us use it over that stupid dull grey shirt
    HWtL !!

Think the third one looks good.

    NOTE TO THE DESIGNER:

Green and blue work for me but there’s one observation I’d make it might make the strip look and feel better when it’s worn by a fan.

It could be improved by getting rid of that pale-blue patch on the front – it detracts from the design!

    Home strip – acceptable

Away strip – awful. I hope the SAF experience with this colour of strip is not repeated.

Third strip – even more awful. The green will blend into the green of the grass and act as a camouflage.

I actually kind of like the away kit. It seems many on here do not. It is kind of dull but its not garish.

I like the design of the third kit but not the colors. But, as I’m red/green colorblind, I’m the last person who should be picking out colors.
