Probably the highlight of the game today was a new mini-dance on the touchline from Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, and a sign to Remy Cabella to keep smiling.
It’s much better than that head-butt – but we wont even mention that. 😀
Here it is.
You can follow us on our three social media sites below:
Next weekend is a salvage operation for my love for NUFC and football. I thought I was done last year, I came back to sample the start of this season, to see if anything would change. It feels terminal though.
I think we’ve actually lost 15 out of the last 20 now!!
Well that’s another 94 mins I’ll never get back!
We were the better team but Villa have got relics like Bent and Richardson and Agbonlahor couldn’t hit the proverbial cow’s arse with a banjo.
Poor poor game and is Cabella seriously so much better than Benny? Mind you he did put in a great ball for Willo to embarrassingly miss. Has Willo ever scored?
I see our free kick routines have become so much more imaginative… NOT!!! Do we have anything other than the ball to Willo at the far post. I guess it will now be the long ball to Saylor. Different day, same s–t.
We were ok today, nothing spectacular but unless we start getting more bodies forward and come out of our shell for the whole 90 mins we are going to have a shocking GD for the 4th season running.
He probably smiled less afterwards out of sheer embarrassment.. It was like watching honey boo boo’s retarded mam following her through her steps during those hillbilly pageants where all the children’s fathers are also their brothers
Disappointing game, with some average performances. All in all we were the better team and could have won easily. Willo, Siem missed great chances. We have to start scoring the few chances we create.
I thought Colback and Janmaat we’re really good. Although Janmaat still gets caught up the field by fast transitions.
Also, really liking Ayoze. He seems to creat great moments and near goals in his limited time so far.
The rest we’re really average. We have to do better.
It`s the end of the world . Pardew has ruined my life.I`m going to scream and scream until I am sick. Dear me the comments on here. Nobody likes a 00 but howay man. Everyone and his dog has said we need a new CH and a proper striker. Defence did OK today Villa had not one shot on target. Wonder where i have heard that stat before endlessly. Cabella was targeted for a lot of rough treatment, bit of a wakeup call for the PL for him . The most glaring thing we learned today if we needed the lesson driven home was we do not have a proper striker. It`s not Riviere game to lead the line. Poor game but we had most of the possesion and the best chances. Did feel sorry for Perez being hooked like that, Gouffran should have been brought off imo.
maybe he has read this blog and feels sypathy for all us so has did this dance to cheer us up.
i’ve fealt disappointed myself but this has got me more happier just watching it.
back to football.
we can see clearly quality footballs are unlikely to come because of higher wages and prices.
quality managers are the same they want high wages and good money to spend too so proves it really ashley will never get a decent one because another thing about quality managers is unlike players they don’t have a selling value either.
to counter all the Pardew negativity, as much as it pains me… if i was managing the team today, i wouldve expected our players to put away at least one of those chances we had.
We are not good enough!! Dummet is ineffective going forward and got ripped to shreds by Insomnia when he had to defend but yet he keeps getting in the team?? Fair enough the new lads have to bed in, but we clearly need that spark in the team yet HBA is no one to be seen? Why?! Is it just because of Pardumbs stubbornness? If so, he has to go. He hasn’t the quality to manage to the level where Newcastle should be.
Ashley was controlling him there. I’m sure I saw his strings.
Idiot. If he coached the players better, he may find Cabella wasn’t already moping in his second game. They’d be getting on with playing positive football.
I’m not looking foward to Gillingham as I can see our usual cup form continuing.
Pardew has to win that game comfortably otherwise SJP will turn on him again.
Has anyone seen a improvement over 2nd half of last season?
The majority of our squad including all the defence except Janmatt and Cabella have spent the whole summer training with Pardew or played under him last year.
Riviere at £6M could end up to be one of the worst buys of the season, however not all is lost as we got Perez on a free. All we need now is a manager who has the bollox to drop Riviere and start Perez.
Still the team is looking good and Colback had a very good game. If we sell Tiote I have no worries about Colback being a more than adequate replacement however any monies received should be spent on a striker as we are still lacking a quality finisher.
As for HBA he’s not the answer. Too ball greedy, gives away possession to easily and not a team player. His last team sold him to us for these reasons, he was dropped from the French national team for the same reasons and he’s not going to get his place at NUFC for the same reason so we might as well ship him out and get something in return for the lack of effort he’s put in. It’s as simple as that.
We do have potential but we still need two new signings and I’m still sat on the fence regarding Pardew. The club have bought him his players and if he doesn’t deliver he’ll be walking on very thin ice and could go much quicker than many think should we not get some points under the belt before the end of September
Riviere never was a lone striker at Monaco and that is obviously not his game. Why does dumbnuts persist in trying to “convert” centre forwards into something they are not. These players are used to playing “football” which is something alien to that excuse of a manager who is foisted on us week after week. Yes I am an unashamed Pardew basher – I hate the smug git with a passion.
A very dull games yesterday with many disappointments. Gouffran and Williamson had to horrendous miskicks in front of goal . Gouffran and Anita were terrible and yet stayed in the game for so long. Sissoko’s run and tackles were good but his passing is poor. Why do we play a lone striker up front so often which time and time again doesn’t reap any benefits. Reviere looked so lost and helpless.
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.
I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #3Not to mention Cabella probably wasn’t smiling because he’s realised he’s made the wrong career move.

Just some movement off the ball would be a start.
