An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #1If pardew is going to continue this kind of stats, averaging a goal every 3 games. we are on course to score in a maximum of only 13 games in the league.
if this is not relegation stats, i dont know what is.

Comment #5Why on earth would he start Dummet over Haidara?
Some things on this earth we will never understand.

Comment #7Personally Sissoko would be dropped next game, I hope to Christ Neil lennon knocks back palace and they make pardew an offer he can’t refuse.. Even his mouth pisses me off nowadays, he looks like he’s had a reaction to shellfish.. I can see a world of abuse from the crowd against palace if we play like we did today

the truth is we need both a striker and a CB.
the trouble is with all these fcuken pardew bashers about we seem to be changing our mind all the time knowing they will start accusing people such as myself as a pardew lover.
i would love a fcuken better manager but i know for certain we will not get one, knowing myself that these fcuken pardew bashers gang up on people like myself it so hard not to change.
i might have said we need a CB more than a CF but the thing that has never ever changed is this.
this team is short in terms of a quality CB and a quality CF.

Comment #9Pardew’s had his time now. He’s had nearly 4 years and hasn’t improved us. He’s also a snake.

Comment #11Who would even vote Cabella?
Last week he was so much better, you could really only compliment his work rate to get back today because his going forward was awful…..
Hutton had him in his pocket everytime.

Comment #12We’re short of a lot of things toonking, the issue is we all have opinions and none of it is fact.. We don’t know if we are going to sign anyone, we don’t know if pardew went would we hire someone better, we don’t know if Ben arfa would have made a difference today.. Everyone’s opinions change like the wind, personally I want pardew gone and replaced with someone who keeps his gob shut and does his job. The frigging pingu impression annoyed me more than it should have because it was that tool doing it! Personally I wanted the dog toucher to go all “Keano” on him

Or leaving, as was not even on the bench.

Comment #16Colback / Willo – solid, M.o.M
Janmaat – Good runs forward and great shot and header.
Cabella – Average and went missing last 20 min
De Jong – Looked confident when he came on, could have scored.
Riviere – Strong but needs a partner ASAP
PARDEW – CLUELESS / HOPELESS any of the two would do him fine.
We need help

Why do you play Haidara in most of the pre season games, so players get to know each other…Then pick another LB ?
Why play Gouffy as a DM when we have players who can do this ?
Unless you are wanting the sack…..
Nobody knows what Pards contract has in the small print. Whats he got left 5+ years…..
Bet you there will still be a canny payout.
I cannot think of any other reason why Pardew continues to be absolutely terrible in selection of players positions and tactics, unless he wants the sack.
One win in ten !!!!!!

Comment #19I prefer we get a ST in before a CB. Goals win you games and under this evidence we will really struggle to score goals.
The defense is alright for now and probs won’t be improved on until end of the season when Colo and/or Saylor leaves.
What pisses me off more apart from Pardew’s negative and predictable tactics is our inability to convert chances.
Cabella should have scored, Gouffran should have scored, Riviere could have perhaps done a bit better with his shot and De Jong was unlucky as he hit it hard and true but straight at their keeper.
The difference a confident and prolific goalscorer does for a team is immense. Just think back to when Shearer left. Even then we had a stronger squad than now and we still struggled to score without him.
We’ve had some players worthy of the number 9 like Demba BA and Remy but we still have yet to replace Shearer and he left AGES AGO!
We may have a Bellamy replacement in Riviere or Ayoze but we lack that clinical finsher in the team much more than a CB.
