Here is a great video of our very own Remy Cabella taking the ice bucket challenge, and the team spirit with the lads certainly seems very good.

Interview played before tonights game with Collocini recorded after the game at Villa, all he was on about was the number of chances they were creating. Having not been able to see the performance tonight it would seem there was less opportunities. Is this down to the midfield pair, or the lack of wing play? Not really sure if Collo is right tho, possession is fine but they are not converting this into clear cut chances and efforts on goal.

Comment #4United have 5 good players:
Valencia
Di Maria
Van Persie
Mata
Rojo
The rest are poor/average. They need at least 6 first team players to compete. We need 3 new signings.
Selling Evra was a mistake

Comment #5Time to drop Sissoko? By all accounts he was useless tonight and I thought he was useless against Villa. Drop him for De Jong. Give him a boot up the arse.
I have no doubt he can shine, but his form has dropped. Maybe he has a World Cup hangover.

its got nothing to do with formations as such, its who you put in the positions
all formations are great, why play with wingers with no wingers?
why play attack minded playes and ask them to mainly deffend?
also confidence is massive in football, and we do not look like a team that has confidenceins to try and keep the ball, we dont look to move the ball forward fast, we tend to carry the ball forward, as we dont have options and movement up front,
thats the manager

Comment #10One day the penny will drop and MA will maybe realise we need a top quality striker through the door. I don’t think it will happen in this transfer window.
we’re going to struggle, relying on goalless draws will get us a few points I suppose.

that does seem a better option that dropping gouffran, have cabbella and gouffran out wide and put dejong just behind the striker. i think the striker himself should be dropped and put perez in his place.

Sissoko poor again 3 games in a row ? Wonder why that is ? Could it be he is not a central midfielder as thats where he has been played and he looks woeful !!!

We won by the opposition scoring a own goal.
That’s tactical genius IMO
Gillingham weren’t expecting that, they where to busy defending ours to see their own player winning the match for us!
Genius a tell ya 😉
Seriously tho glad we’re through. Hopefully there’ll be a massive impeovement soon.

one the penny might drop with you also
we played gillingham tonight with on paper a very strong team against them,
now in normal circumstances you would be thinking , its a cup game, these things happen BUT, if you look at this run of not scoring, from jan 2014 we dont look like scoring goals.
put money into messi and ronaldo but under pardew they will stuggle

Aye and Januzaj came on for him who was there breakthrough player last season
They were shite, put out a decent team but like vs Swansea and the Mackems they look disjointed and lost under his system
Slow build up play, no one has a clue where there supposed to be playing and they look worse than us!

Comment #39It’s not fair to ask us to play two teams at once Lynxie mate. That’s why I’m depending on us getting Ramsbottom to get us through the next round. After that the sky’s the limit. I even see us scoring a goal before we go out.
