Here is a great video of our very own Remy Cabella taking the ice bucket challenge, and the team spirit with the lads certainly seems very good.

Do cash convectors take damaged goods?
Is Monopoly money classed as real currency in Scotland? That’s all we’ll get 😉

Comment #85ourtoon i didn’t say that at all i said we’ve got a whole new front line so it needs some patience or do you think thats wrong?
riv siem and cabella all from new weaker leagues are they meant to be able to hit the ground running no questions asked?
and 3 games in (1 of massively changed) we are supposed to have an attacking understanding scoring loads of goals?
come on we’ve massively improved since the end of last season already shown defensively and possession wise and passing wise and when the team click offensively we might just come good but supposedly i’m meant to be depressed and shouting how shit we are!

I not sure what 9 injuries they have, I can only think of Shaw and Herrera off the top of my head. Can you answer why our so called attacking new style means we can only have 1 player in the box?

It’s probably on tomorow with the draw, don’t quote me on that just guessing as I couldn’t find any either.

Forward players can take a while to settle or some can instantly click. Against Man City and Villa we had Riviere and Cabella as the 2 new forward thinking players, Sissoko and Gouffran have been here a while though so I don’t buy your argument. We played some decent stuff but Janmaat has come closer to scoring than Riviere. I think young Perez has shown more than Riviere in his brief cameos.
Overall we’ve been pleasing on the eye without really causing the opposition to many problems.

If we sign 1 player before the window shuts and it isn’t a striker.
Which (possible) signing would you prefer?

we have a shambolic group of CBs we want attacking FBs therefore 2 CDM are need 1 help the fullback and the other help the CB and also cover in midfield.
secondly 4-4-2 has been constantly stated as a dinosaur formation so therefore you only have 1 striker.
midfielders can get in the box but they midfielder not forwards so there job is creating them chances and also scoring the follow up which was made when strikers miss.
so why not start asking for 4-4-2 that way we have them two wingers and the two strikers even if dejong plays just a fraction further back and colback himself can make the run up as he has got that energy.
united have played a very attacking formation with just 3 defenders but they lost to MK and swansea and drew at sunderland so all out attacks alone don’t guarentee wins it needs good defence like city have. liverpool last year scored goals but lost what should have been a title win, why was that probably because they too leaked lots.

Comment #98aye opti i thought they’d show a bit more of the entertainers like and a few more shearer goals some thing never change tho 🙂
i remember as a kid us trying to do “the yaboah” lol
belfast pardew is the best we’ll get full stop
ya can not deny the constraints the man has had to work under plus the selling of his best pla\yers half way through a season including no signings in a season and a half constantly rebuilding a team that was only back in the prem half a season!
but supposedly you can and then fantasise about de boar or simeone and all of this under the same owner that we’ve had that has shown there is absolutley no chance of us getting better!!!!! bloody hell like!!!!

Comment #101M-Peaople – ‘search for the hero’ should be pumped (level 11) into our dressing room on a loop before every game. With Pards singing along on a microphone karaoke-style as well.

Comment #106I did say “Which (possible) signing would you prefer?”
OP had a lol at that, but somehow I don’t think he was really a possible target.
Though we’ve so far struggled to score goals I gotta agree with Toonking, and for me it’s gotta be either Alderweireld or Blind ahead of van Dijk.
Our central defence play the only way they seem capable of, passing sideways and backwards until one of the midfielders comes short for a pass.
In a nutshell, it is the beginning of our attacks.
Without a forward thinking defender, one with presence and ability, our game play is going to be continually dictated by negative tactics from our cb’s.

Comment #107We need to start scoring against Palace, or well have to start looking at other options and formations which would be a less than ideal way to start the season as it obviously suggests we are and will continue to drop points. I like Rivière, but he as much as the side in general need a goal now or we potentially have a significant problem.

Comment #109ourtoon you’ve just said we’ve played some decent stuff so why can’t that get better when the forward line click?
and tbh if they aren’t clicking yet is it not a good thing that our defence looks better and we are tighter as a TEAM
if after 10 games we’re talking about the same thing then fair enough but now is far to early to have a go after another squad change
plus btw arfa was playing against a reading reserves infact 1 pic looked like he was playing against a 10 yo!!

Comment #116Relying on a lucky break again are we alan?
If this doesn’t sum him up and people still defend him then your clearly as deluded as he is!
I’m hoping to get a break on Saturday, we just need one break. It would be nice to score two or more goals on Saturday.
“The way Palace play, how quick they are on the break, you sense that they could score, so it might mean we do need to get two or three goals so that’s what our focus must be.”
