Newcastle Must Find Clubs For These Four Players

Newcastle have only two days left in the transfer window and they need to find clubs for at least four players – either on loan or in a permanent move.

Ben Arfa – when he was flying at Newcastle

Here are the players who need to be moved out and why:

  • Hatem Ben Arfa – has fallen out with Alan Pardew but was at the game yesterday and was seen to celebrate when Newcastle equalized through Rolando Aarons with 15 minutes to go. It seems like Ben Arfa will resist joining another club permanently until he becomes a free agent next summer, although he could take a loan move for this season. News today that he has turned down Turkish club Besiktas, and Birmingham have no chance of taking this player on loan for the season. Dream on Lee Clark. Ben Arfa has played 86 games for the Magpies with 14 goals and 18 assists, and he may think he can stay at Newcastle longer than Alan Pardew, who will be under pressure if Newcastle don’t start winning some games soon.
  • Jonas Gutierrez – reports are that he has a clause in his contract which says that once he plays a certain number of games for the club (probably 200) Newcastle have to offer him a new contract which is probably why he played only two games last season. The Argentine International had a loan move to Norwich in January which didn’t work out too well – and he is currently in Argentina keeping fit with a personal trainer. Jonas played 194 games with 11 goals for Newcastle and was a popular player – and he could probably do as well or better than other players currently at Newcastle.
  • Shane Ferguson – the Irish International has fallen way down the pecking order at Newcastle, and he didn’t have a good loan spell at Birmingham City last season, and this year he even found it hard to make the bench for the Championship team who avoided relegation on the last day of the season. Lee Clark’s team scored  two late goals which saved them from relegation. Here’s another example of a youngster who showed lots of promise earlier in his career, but for some reason Newcastle haven’t been able to bring him through to the first team. Shane played 32 times for the first team.
  • Haris Vuckic – this lad was said to be a great player in the making when we signed him in January of 2009, but mainly because  of a number  injuries he is just not coming through. Haris had a loan spell at Rotherham for the second half of last season, but had difficulty making the starting line-up. Alan Pardew played him during this pre-season, but there seems no way this player will get many games for Newcastle this season, and he could be loaned out for the season,  since he still has two years left on his contract. Haris played 17 times with one goal for Newcastle.

Are there other Newcastle players that need to be moved on – maybe Sammy Ameobi?

    Repost.
There seems to be a bit of a trend by a couple of posters just to cut and paste comments from other posters or articles and leave it at that, with no personal comment at all attached, so as a reader we do not know what the posters point is.
I would say what is the point of that – the blog surely should be a exchange of view/ideas.
Whilst I’m having a moan another point is people just putting up an external link without any explanation or suggestion as to what is is. I skip past these pretty quick.

Sad to see a player like HBA leaving simply because he doesn’t get on with the manager, he’s still able to do a job for us and could be a vital player this coming season, but I still think he will be here after Pardew has gone

Just imagine what these 4 people could do to newcastle:

    Frank de Boer – Manager
    Denis Bergkamp – Assistant manager
    Jaap Stam – Coach
Marc Overmars – Director of football

    Am I dreaming too much?

Think we def need rid of Pardew but in reality i think we’re stuck with him for as long as MA owns the club, i don’t dislike the man the way i used to but just think that a top manager could do so much more with the players we hav available

Add Oba Saylor colo Willo one of the 3left backs to the above, I’d keep Benny

All need upgrading Willo has been our best for a while and even he needs to go, I’d shift colo and a Saylor first if possible.

But it’s never going to happen Colo and Saylor will see out their contracts.

On the left backs pick two send one on a season loan maybe our best option. I’d send H on loan as I think he’d gain more from playing regularly.

James, all we can do is give them a try. Nothing is guaranteed. If they did worse than Pardull, they’d be breaking records which had previously stood for decades. I doubt that would happen.

Frank has managed some of our Dutch lads before as well. Siem being the captain even.

    James

I don’t even think Stam could help our defence!

De Boer will be ambitious are we as ambitious as him.

If Pardew goes it will be a out of work manager as Ashley won’t pay compo twice.

I’d happily lose ten mill on playoffs to get a decent set
Of coaches in but can’t see it 🙁

Now I know what Blackburn fans felt like under Keane as manager.

I thought Dalglish was a soulless manager, but Pardew is on par with Dalglish. I am not talking about the result yesterday either, that is irrelevant, I just cannot stand watching it anymore.

We have to release squad numbers also, ie meaning to bring someone in, someone has to go out who has a squad number, we must our defensive frailties again are the most obvious for me in any team in the premiership another three conceded at the Cathederal not on at all.

I have to say that our midfield has no steel either, Colbeck is neet and tidy but hardly puts the frighteners on anyone, am pleased for the lad regarding his England call up but i would not have guessed that one in a hundred years, what is wrong with Tiote, i havnt got a clue,

I personally would love to see Colo in Tiote`s role if we can get Alderweireld in, Colo is really comfortable on the ball, and his lack of pace would not matter as much in that position, after all Tiote isnt that quick either.

All four seem to be in the category of having been ‘Pardewed’. As a manager every thing the muppet touches seems to go sour. Get rid of AP asap.

I think sadly we’re not just trying to keep in touch with top 7 but also Swansea and Southampton seem better too. Think now rather than a luxury, we need Alderweireld, Grenier and Lacazette just to tread water…

I cannot stand AP, not just for the dire brand of football he employs but also because he has blanked me twice on flights down to Heathrow, all I wanted was a pic.

On the other hand bumped in to Shola there the other day and he couldn`t of been nicer.

    Good lad.

Pardew has to go! So do 3 of the 4 players mentioned above except HBA.

Obertan, Saylor and Raylor should be shipped out asap also!

That’s the deadwood at our club

Sammy Ameobi, Abeid, & Bigi really need to play this season too. We could see a few loans go out
