Ben Arfa On Season Long Loan Deal At Hull

The news is coming in that Ben Arfa may indeed be leaving Newcastle for a season long loan deal – and it’s to Hull City and Steve Bruce.

Ben Arfa – could be playing for Hull City next season

Sky Sports are reporting that Ben Arfa is in talks with Hull City right now, and the deal could well go through in the two hours still left in the transfer window.

There was news earlier today that Alan Pardew had made it clear to the French International that he would not be in the first team squad at Newcastle, even if he stayed on at the club, and that may have caused Ben Arfa to have a re-think about wanting to stay at Newcastle United.

We’re sure the loan deal – if it goes through – will give Hull City the option to buy Ben Arfa next summer – but come to think of it – that will no be necessary because he will be a free agent next summer. 🙁

We may still be seeing Ben Arfa in the Premier League next season – and maybe for longer than that – but not in a Newcastle shirt.

And since this is a loan deal we assume a clause in the contract will say he cannot play against Newcastle United – that’s good.

It’s a pity he didn’t move to the continent, but apparently he only wanted a move to a Premier League club.

Now he will be playing week in and week out at Hull City – and Steve Bruce must be rubbing his hands to get such a talented player at Hull City after Newcastle (Alan Pardew) made it clear they didn’t want the Frenchman.

It seems there has been a complete breakdown in communication between Ben Arfa and the Newcastle manager – and as far as we are concerned it’s a black mark against both men – and very unprofessional.

So will we see Ben Arfa running half the length of the field to score next season – in a Hull City shirt?

It’s a very smart move by Steve Bruce, but we may see some negative reaction to this news from Newcastle fans – who still wanted Ben Arfa to stay at the club.

What do you think?

I’m more bothered about the failure to strengthen our pathetic central defensive postions than Ben Arfa leaving. That said I like Ben Arfa and I believe he still has something to offer the club, which is in complete contrast to what I think of Pardew.

Wasn’t Gosling a deadline day (loan) purchase? If not there was someone – once.

So thats a player off the roster, Pards best be bringing someone in to replace M’biwa at least. Still he shouldn’t be leaving, Pardew out.

Gutted about Ben arfa, thought he’d outlast pardew. I know his attitude is bad and he is a frustration but if he was managed properly he could do really well I reckon. Any idea how long pardew has left on his contract?

    Players out:

    Yohan Cabaye
    Loic Remy
    Dan Gosling
    Shola Ameobi
    James Tavernier
    Romain Amalfitano
    Matheui Debuchy
    Sylvain Marveaux
    Mapou M’bwia
    Hatem Ben Arfa

And fans say that signing 9 players is a good thing.

If HBA going to Hull is Pardew’s fault i will be p1ssed,however,nobody knows if this is a team decision also,if the team and Pardew don’t want him back then his position is untenable. There were reports of the players falling out with him, maybe he tried to lamp Pardew like the rumour’s say.

we cannot buy a experienced CB and a real no 9…. we don’t belong in the PL…which we all know we don’t.

    Mojo

This is a Pardew decision not the team…please stop believing the information leaked to press by apparent sources. What a shite window this has become now. MYM and HBA gone on the final day, reason why we’ve waited until the final day is obvious as well….not enough time to find replacements. Keep turning up though the cancer running through the club keeps pissing on you and like tools you keep turning up!! REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!

Yet another window without signing a centre back, and to add insult to injury, getting rid of one. Wtf? Absolute lunacy!

We had a weak team last year.

10 players out (that were in and around the first team) and 9 players in with 2 going out on loan.

7 additions to the first team squad (all replacements by the way) and only 1 with an PL experience.

Yet we have had a good window.

    Ha ha ha

Why didn`t we go for Guidetti??
    He couldvè done the trick.
Luuk De Jong has scored a few already this year,i reckon he should`ve got more time.
Again it could be that Our manager can`t manage these players, just a thought

We shouldn’t have got rid of these:

    Cabaye
    Debuchy
    Ben Arfa
    Mbiwa
    Marveuax
    Remy

Siem De Jong isn’t better than Marveaux. Riviere isn’t better than Remy. Willo and Coloccini aren’t better than Mbiwa. Janmaat is our best signing.

I’ll be absolutely gutted if Hatem goes. My enthusiasm is already running on fumes.

It’s a footballing crime if an inept excuse of a manager gets his way of releasing one of the most talented players to ever join the club. Ironically, by the manager who holds the joint worst defeats in a row amongst his other dismal records and hideous, clueless football.

It’s got to the point where no one can legitimately defend Ashley anymore. We shouldn’t be overly grateful (as many are) to him for balancing our books as he didn’t do that for our benefit, he did it so he doesn’t have to put in much of his own cash. He’s skimming money from us without reducing the loan and I’m confident than when he wants to sell us, he’ll rip our squad to pieces.
Moan about Shepard all you want but the man had ambition and wanted us to compete with the elite. There’s no evidence aside from speculation that we were about to become the next Leeds or Portsmouth so people also need to stop using that as a defence for Ashley and his plans. Fact of the matter is, aside from the first half a season he owned us, everything Ashley has done is for his own benefit and not ours.

    the club is scum…..

It has been for some time but fans don’t want to believe it. The fans who come to games don’t. Ashley is laughing like he did at the game vs Palace… he is laughing at 50 000 idiots who came to the game.

He does not give a ++++ about this club he never will. He knows he has full stadiums, lunatics for fans. What a superb business plan.

He will NEVER get rid of Pardew he will be there forever ruining players…

Its so so so sickening and I cannot stand by it any longer…

Good riddance to the egotistical git. Rest of the players hated him for being too lazy to be part of the team and I bet none of them will be doing anything other than waving him goodbye. We need to play as a team and he never had that mentality or intelligence. Hope one of our lads does a De Jong on him in next home game.
