There is news doing the rounds that Alan Pardew has told Hatem Ben Arfa that he is surplus to requirements at Newcastle United, and he wants him out of the club by 11:00 pm tonight.
Alan Pardew and Ben Arfa in happier times
It’s not like this any more between them
But something tells us that the Frenchman will still try to resist being moved out by the manager and Newcastle.
We have said for some time now that he will still want to leave Newcastle next summer as a free agent – when he could get a decent deal for himself with no transfer being needed – and he could still do that if he accepts a loan deal for the season.
Lee Ryder of the Chronicle has tweeted this on his Twitter account:
#nufc are spending the last few hours of the window trying to sell Hatem Ben Arfa.
And talkSport radio is reporting that Pardew has told the Frenchman he is surplus to requirements on Tyneside, and we wrote a piece this morning stating this altercation between the manager and Ben Arfa cannot be allowed to continue at the club.
As sometimes happens when this kind of thing starts to get out of hand, it seems to have become personal – but in our piece this morning we were hoping that Pardew and Ben Arfa could resolve their differences – for the good of the club.
It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
These kinds of things are always sad – and nobody gets to be the winner, and quite honestly it reminds us of the fights we used to have as kids in the playground (Wharrier Street Primary School in my case) – it’s that bad and that unprofessional on both sides when it’s between grown men.
And there’s always a way to get to a solution to these problems – if only both men would get together, talk and try (and want to) fix the problem.
Life’s too short for this kind of thing.

Comment #6Hba is such a swine, tbf. He threatened to help ein s cup or at least string more than 3 wins in the bounce if regularly included in the team. He also made Obertan look unskilled. He also cruelly exposed the defensive units glaring weaknesses in a cruel manner. What a swine, the sooner he is shipped off to a team he’d rather not go to the better. Serves him right if he’s a success and wins things there, the arrogant monster!

Comment #7If nothing else, hba’s tenure at nufc will be counted a roaring success if he is responsible for Pardew getting his laundry bag shoved into a taxi. He’d be a legend.

Infact its worse than 2 years ago when we desperately got mbiwa in Jan.

Comment #13Hopefully Ben arfa will still be at the club tomorrow, that way if pardew doesn’t get a win soon he should get sacked and a new manager will be able to work ben arfa back in to our team. Pardew seems incapable of taking any blame for last seasons shocking form and thats why Ben Arfa will not play for us again under Pardew the f****g snake.

Comment #27Wouldn’t play poker with HBA because he would at least take risks and could clear me out. Wouldn’t play poker with Pardew because he would shoot you from under the table. Wouldn’t play poker with Ashley because then I would be Pardew.
HBA needs to stay and out stare the death stare. Let’s see who blinks first.

Comment #29Come on we cant compete with the likes of mighty Hull City or Leicester City. Hull can splash out 10million because of there 20 thousand crowds.

Comment #30@Markaccus I would never do anything rational like that myself. But you have to wonder how it has not happened yet. He is making millions of fans frustrated and depressed all by not managing a football team properly. As we know Nufc fans are very very very passionate.
Look at neil Lennon he was receiving bullets through the post while a Celtic.

I’ll happily talk about something else, but today I think Pardew was always going to be the talking point due to his interviews and claims of a stronger team.
IMO it’s human nature to go on and on until something changes.
Scientists have a theory that our dreams are based upon what’s on our mind and there a way to stop you going mad by playing over different scenarios whilst sleeping. I don’t know if that’s true but sounds likely.
My view on Ashley at NUFC which is my opinion based on what I’ve read and things done at the club.
I think Ashley heard on the grapevine the Mansoods where planning on buying NUFC so he jumped in first expecting a decent profit for not much work. Then due to not doing due dulling emcee he wasn’t going to get the money he wanted so decided to have a go at running a club.
Then came KK which went tits up and NUFC and SD ended up front page news from Byker to Bangok which was when he realised how much publicity SD was getting just because of his association.
Then Mansoods came in and he had no intention of selling just more smoke and mirrors for free publicity for SD.
We’ve had SJP name change and JFK to name a couple and even thease IMO where perfectly thought out moves not mistakes to get SD on the news, we all no he doesn’t give a stuff about the fans.
There’s way more stuff happened and I beleive everything was planned to work like this except maybe relegation but even that may have been a gamble he wanted. How much did he lend the club when it went down? But more interesting why? We got a parachute payment offloaded several high payed players and their wages. Why did we need money?
And on to where we are, I think Ashley is ready to axe Pardew just to protect us from going down, if he’s confident Pardew can keep us up he’ll stay but I think his numbers up.
Ashley wants us in 10th because any higher and he has to invest, no advertising in Europa or CL so no way he’s investing with no bennift for SD
That’s my take on the piece of 5hit and all ideas how to get rid will be carefully scrutinised and passed on to the right people 😉

Comment #39People will try to put the blame on Ashley but you can’t change the fact that Pardew has come out and said he expects a signing or 2 before the window shuts.
So if no one comes in he is going to look like a right tool.

yeah i know you wouldnt. It takes a special kind of tw@ for that kind of thing. Lennons death threats were based on religious grounds, him being NI and Celtic being a Catholic club. Those people are a fcuking disgrace!
