Roma Complete Loan Move For Yanga-Mbiwa

Roma have just completed the season long loan signing of Newcastle’s French International Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

Mapou Yanga Mbiwa

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – on loan at Roma

The Italian side who finished second in the league last season to Juventus have confirmed the signing on their web-site.

The reports are that Roma have paid €1M (£760K) plus a potential €500K (£380K) in bonuses to sign the 25-year-old French International on loan – so that seems a good deal if it also includes 80% of Mapou’s wages.

This is what Yanga-Mbiwa said on his arrival at the club:

“I’m very happy to be in Rome, I couldn’t wait to get here. I’ve already spoken with Rudi Garcia over the phone in the last few days. I’m ready, forza Roma”.

It’s all looking like another disappointing last day of the transfer window with no new players coming into the club and Mapou leaving for Roma, and it also looks like Hatem Ben Arfa will go out on a season long loan deal to Hull City.

That’s a huge surprise and if we have to think Geordie Steve Bruce just cannot believe his luck that he may have the French International in his squad for this season.

And you can bet your life ben Arfa will be motivated to show his skills in the golden shirt of Hull City this season – bit it was also made clear by Alan Pardew that Ben Arfa had no future at the Magpies and he was literally forced out of the club at the last moment – always assuming the loan deal will go through.

That will get his wages off the books, and it looks to us that Hull City are becoming a more ambitious club than Newcastle these days.

Oh my.

Absolutely disgusted! Saylor still here and we send MYM with the option to make a permanent deal. No signs of a replacement so weaker and Hatem to Hull!
The REAL shortcomings are You, Pardew you complete Pri@k. You’ll be gone in 7 games anyway.

so by all accounts colo demanded pardew got rid of hba.

pardew had to choose as there was a divide developing in squad between cabaye/ba/ben arfa/debuchy and the old guard…. ben arfa is the last of the clique removed.

im not happy at all, good managers would make it work. ben arfa is a top player

Wasn’t given the chance by Pardew. How many times did he play for us at centre back?

We have got rid of a french international title wining player and have kept Williamson and Saylor.

We just let our best central defender and best striker go. Meanwhile we have the biggest tosser on the planet as a manager and the biggest wanker on the planet as our captain. Our club is just F*****d!

So now only 3 CBs all of which are dodgey. My prediction is we finish 13th and will be going through the same thing this time next year

We’ve got 72 minutes to sign 7 players for myself to be satisfied. We need to sign these players in the next 72 minutes:

    Alderweireld
    Nastasic
    Van Dijk
    Rod Fanni
    Grenier
    Konoplanka
    Benteke

Am I the only one thinks our squad is actually weaker than last year?
Just 2-3 injuries on key players, we will be in relegation dog fight yet again. Okay, I actually like relegation fight better than mid table finish. We’ll done, Ash

He’s good enough for the runners up of Serie A but not for the career long underachiever manager that we have.

Alan, your management continues to get worse. Get out.

if we really sign anyone, Van Dijk would make the most sense, but I want to have Nastasic.

The question is… is there a Bryan Ruiz again?

Terrifying prospect this season when Coloccini is injured and heads back to Argentina for a couple of months. We have a starting centre back partnership of Williamson and Taylor with no senior backup. The lack of foresight and penny pinching at the club now is soul destroying

I want the lads to give Pardew so much abuse that he cries. I will take glee in seeing a 50 year old man have an emotional break down on national television.

There are three teams worse than us so we can all chill. I predict a 12th place finish and we should be happy with that. And no Cups. Keep the faith in Pards and Big Mike to keep us in the Premiership.
