Here is a video on Ben Arfa’s time at Newcastle we have been sent – this could be difficult for Newcastle fans to watch – what a player this lad was (is) when at his best.
Having said that Jabba doesn’t like to spend money on us,the last thing Jabba want’s is relegation so if it looks like we might struggle early on in the season he might panic and it might be time for Pardew 2.0.That is maybe why these rumours about him having 2 games have came out.All just a theory.
No, I’m afraid you got the facts wrong again. Have never ever been A Moyes fan, not in a million years. I’m not going to bite on that one but please feel free to see if you can find anything. The only Everton manager I like is the current one.
all jabba needs to know is he saved one season on Pardews contract compensation , he should have gone last season, that was a huge gamble , so why don’t he take the interest from not spending on any players and the money he earned this season and fire the whole lot of them ,
I’m guessing 4 million tops , he just lost that on HBA and mym
On his day, Ben Arfa is better than Messi. I’m expecting us to finish 16th this season, unless we sign 7 players in January. We need 4 centre backs, Grenier, Konoplyanka and Benteke. We need to spend £50m.
For a weirdy beardy your insults are a bit lame bud.
Actually I am a coach UEFA B as a matter of fact, so your sarcasm is a bit wasted, as is your ignorance in trying to say I like Moyes when it’s not my fault you’ve probably been smoking something funny and lack total recall.
Instead of endlessly flapping your gums go and find one post where I said I wanted Moyes as manager. When you can’t find one I’ll be waiting in vain for an apology.
BS paper talk, he’s just been backed on his ingoing and outgoing transfers. I expect he’ll be here until at least Xmas (I am dreaming earlier), all the crap in the paper of two games is just BS leaked out by the club to appease the fans.
When has anyone had any clue whats really happening before it actually happened?
Who saw Fat Sam being sacked for JFK Who saw Hughton being sacked for Pardew.
I don’t remember either of those story’s being in my fish and chip wrappers before they’d happened.
I’m glad it’s taken the doom and gloom away however I just don’t see it just yet, if he does go ill do a couple cartwheels and then start chanting for Fatty out next, speaking of Ashley I need a dump.
Great to see those goals again Ed and the skill of HBA. However until the real story comes out, the loan deal of the Frenchman to Hull will, I’m afraid simply provide the Pardew haters with more ammunition to fire at the manager. Can anyone honestly say for sure what the problem was with Hatem Ben Arfur at NUFC ? I very much doubt it. If it was that the rest of the team couldn’t play with him, for whatever reason, or that his fitness levels were not as they should have been, and I’m not saying that either of these was the case, then the club had to move him on, and Pardew may well have preferred to keep him. The point is we simply don’t know.
Is everyone still in pain from Monday nights saga or what?
Interesting comments about Pardew and the next couple of games, and that it could maybe a leak from the club to appease fans. Certainly wouldn’t put it past them.
On Ben Arfa, it brought a lump to my throat then I suddenly realised how rare these moments of brilliance actually were.
They are both to blame for his depature. It should never have got to that point.
Im more disturbed at nobody else coming in for him and Mapou. We have been basically shown what the future holds where transfers and ambition is concerned.
The future dosn’t look bright unless we look to be relegated come January. It’s a lose lose!! If we buy in January they will be looking to cash in on any of our better players to fund it.
Pardew is always here to tell us how we cant compare to the higher teams like Southampton, West Bromwich Albion and the recent ones should be Leicester City, Burnley and Hull.
It is always the case. Are our group of players really that bad? Or was it himself?
They put in bids on the penultimate day for strikers but were turned down. Remy only ever wanted Champions League and/or London. Lacazette and his owner repeatedly said he didn’t want to move. There were strikers before them and they turned us down too, and not necessarily for the money.
Rotonda, I wasn’t really thinking about how he did in the league there, pardew would probably win the league with them. I seem to remember him getting a very average Celtic team doing well in the champions league. Didn’t they beat barca at some point? Or did I dream that? I know you can’t go on 1 result but he might not be bad. Thought he was probably a more realistic option, can’t see there being any big names wanting to work for Ashley.
Was the football they played entertaining in the champs league or was it more of a case of parking the bus and getting lucky?
you do if you go 5 games in with only 2 points on the board and nothing seemingly different from the previous season.
I don’t think it will come to that though. I think the slimeball will get out of jail yet again as he’s like a cat with more than 9 lives!
Soto are in transition and have maybe just lost too many players and Hull have 4 new players, 1 of which definitely won’t play and will also be in transition.
I’m sure there’s worse than Lennon but what we really need is a top European technical coach or if it has to be British then an up and coming one like Dyche or Howe.
Rotonda Lol,can’t you just admit it or even better tell me how to go back a season without clicking through every single post?,i’ve been clicking for 20 mins and Janmat’s just signed for us.It fit’s your profile,Southampton are doing ok you want De Boer,Chille were impressive during the world cup you said their manager would be a good shout,Burnley were getting good publicity last season, you wanted Shaun Dyche and described him as a “very good manager”,Swansea were playing well with Laudrup and you wanted him.Why wouldn’t you say that about Moyes when Everton were playing well?.I can even tell you what the conversation was about,it was when i said no manager in their right mind would come and work under these restrictions and you said Moyes as he was doing that at Everton.
boohooo———-boohoooo ——–boohooo that naughty Ed has started off another conversation about HBA. He knows I do not want to debate HBA -but yet he posts regardless. I’m not going to take part until there is another topic. So there!! In the meantime I’m going to the huffy bed in my room. Boohooo —–booohooo.
‘….you’ve got to wonder why they don’t want to come…’
Conversely, why have nine players just joined ? Have they all made a big mistake ?
There was only one player who hankered for a move and that was Debuchy. All the other players appeared happy to stay.
Cabella sounded out current and former French players at the club before he made the move. De Jong spoke to his brother. I believe Janmaat spoke to Krul.
Far too many people are negative and think the worst. Also far too many people look at the last day of the transfer window as the barometer of how well or bad we have done.
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.
I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Pardew’s just been backed on his ingoing and outgoing transfers has he?
Nett cost £1.6m but what’s telling, there’s been no big spend on a proven striker or CB.
Ever thought that Ashley might not have wanted to commit that spend to Pardew but let it sit until January – and a new manager?
Wishful thinking but ……

Comment #57Pulls Moyes are side steps not foward ones so I’d probably expect Ashley to sign one of those.
No I wouldn’t want either but if it’s a choice between either of those or Pardew, toss a coin I’m not arsed which one.
Doubt either would work for fatty, neither can be skint or desperate.

You are absolutely right.
You don’t agree to a managers spending plans and then sack him before the new players have hardly kicked a ball.

MYM and Benny, if Ashley was only giving Pardew a cpl weeks do you think he’d let those two go?
Pardew has claimed he chose the players,
their great I even remember CL being shouted about.
Fair enough he didn’t get a top cf or to CB but he’s got the players he chose!
9 of them, just because he didn’t get the two that fans wanted a CB and CF doesn’t mean he hasn’t been backed and how much is spent is irrelevant.
Around 3 weeks ago Pardew was spouting “I’m happy with this group I chose them we’ll be challenging, blah blah blah”

hard to have too many moments when you’re not played isn’t it. maybe you should take a look at his ”assists ” stats when he was occasionally played.
As for MYM yes gone to a CL club with a manager who should be here. lots were in for him but couldn’t afford his wages.
