A ¨Whoops¨ Moment For Mike Ashley’s Company

A report in the Sun today that Sports Direct have issued new NUFC schoolbags for the new school term in black and white colors, and with Newcastle United written on them, along with the Newcastle United crest.

nufc fulham

NUFC schoolbags – whats Fulham doing there?

But when you look more closely at the bags, there’s a bit of a mistake, and two young supporters bought the £9 schoolbags, but lo and behold noticed the bags had ¨Fulham¨ written on the zip pulls.

The mother of the two boys  Stacy Boone told the Sun:

¨They just turned around to me and said.¨ ¨Is this a fake?¨ ¨I said ”No, I got them from Sports Direct.¨

Stacy was told she had to send them back by mail –  and couldn’t return them to the store she got them from – but then the company came to their senses and apologised for the mistake and offered immediate replacements.

Well at least Sports Direct did the right thing – even it was after asking the mother to do all the work and return the bags by mail.

Maybe Mike will promise to buy two good players in January for Newcastle as further retribution?

Big Mike must be getting bored .

Hasn’t mugged us NUFC fans off since the end of the transfer window and is taking another shot . Like a kid pulling legs of a spider .

The only thing that keeps me going is the knowledge one day he won’t be in charge of NUFC .

I see Janmaat made a bit of a mess of his header to the keeper to help Czech Republic get the winner.

He looks a confident lad I think with his body language so far.

We’ll see how that affects him with the Southampton match.

mojo -Mr Tubbs might even think in a quiet moment that his appointments have been poor and get an upgrade -we do not know until it happens. Well worth the risk. Well 85% of the fans think so.

I want Jabba out,he’s put the club up for sale twice before because the fans abused him.If this was solely aimed at him i would be 100% behind it.I know the trouble is finding a buyer but at least it would be a glimmer of hope.Does anyone know if he would want less money for the club if he has regained most of the loan we owe him?.Jabba is not bothered about Europe so 8th position is the best we can aim for a finish,he won’t want to win a cup because you get into Europe through cups so what can the next manager do?

Yep, bit of a howler from Janmaat. Gave the points to the Czechs. Nice header off the post though. Possibly he could teach Willo his technique for Willo’s next starring role in our set pieces?

I like the idea of Mike and Alan going off into the sunset on a permanent holiday together. I suppose it would make Willo jealous though. Hmmmm. A threesome then? Ugghhhh.

This just in. Mike and Alan have abandoned the idea of finishing 10th this season. We’re going for 14th instead. It’s a cozy spot with 6 teams below, no danger of any nasty European football, and then Pards can say “we’ll get it right next season. We know where we stand now. We know we have to improve. We’ll take the necessary steps.” Beautiful Alan.

In an ideal world Ashley sell’s up and becomes nothing other than a bad memory, but what makes us attractive to any prospective buyer is the same thing that makes Ashley want to keep us. We have little to no debt, TV rights money is through the roof and we have a solid fan base, great for anyone looking to buy into the EPL but bad as Ashley only cares about profits and running us the way he is, the money is sure to roll in

There is a slim chance that he might, but imo he has no ambition for this club at all so it makes sense to think his managerial appointment will reflect that.If he wanted to be in Europe he would have signed some players in January when we were in a decent position, that’s no guarantee that we would have made it but at least it would have sent the right message.

Oh, it’s a jolly ‘oliday with Alan
Alan makes your ‘eart so light!
When the day is gray and ordinary
Alan makes the sun shine bright!
Oh, ‘appiness is bloomin’ all around ‘im
The daffodils are smilin’ at the dove
When Alan runs your club you feel so grand
Your ‘eart starts beatin’ like a big brass band
It’s a jolly ‘oliday with Alan
No wonder that it’s Alan that we love!
    Beautiful sentiments from Mike there.

    Mr Mojo,
There really aren’t that many people on this site more anti Mashley than me and this is getting at him, like I said the only reason he hasn’t git it sooner is because people know Mashers is a cnut but his lies and doing his bosses bidding have gone to far not to mention the dross he’s served up for four years now.

@Laurent: In fairness, he was under pressure and the keeper should have been a bit more vocal/dominant. Still a gutter for Janmaat, though.

Thump, as I said, I think he seems a generally confident lad so he thought he could make it even in a tricky situation.

That wasn’t the case this time.

Mike management should have ask them to keep the bag instate.

    Mike management is so unthoughtful.
