Midfielder Feels Very Good About Team – The Coach Trusts Me

Remy Cabella started for France in the 1-1 draw in Serbia on Sunday night, and he had a very good game and made the France goal, which was scored by former Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba – now starring at Juventus.

Remy Cabella in action against Serbia

Remy looked good in pre-season for Newcastle, and he is now getting to grips with the Premier League as other Frenchmen at Newcastle have also had to do to raise their game to the levels of the Premier League.

Remember it took Yohan Cabaye some time three years ago to adjust, before he finally started to produce the goods at Newcastle, and we expect the same thing from Remy Cabella.

Remy was called into the French World Cup squad last summer after both Clement Grenier and Franck Ribery had to withdraw through injury, but he didn’t see any action in Brazil.

With Siem de Jong out injured, Cabella becomes an even more important player for Newcastle now, and we hope the lad can reproduce the form he showed for France in Serbia, where he looked very good.

Remy has spoken to the press today, and he is back in training at Benton for the important game on Saturday:

“I feel very good about this team,” “I have been integrated, and now I will work to be part of the starting eleven regularly.”

“We ran into a team that was very athletic – the coach said he expected this kind of game – but we didn’t lose. That is the most important thing.”

“I am very happy to have played two matches. The coach trusts me.”

We suppose the athletic team was Crystal Palace – so they may have been athletic but they aren’t reckoned to have a very good side this season, and likely to finish in the bottom half of the league..

A large percentage of Newcastle fans expected us to win that game at home – and that’s only one reason a draw looked like 2 points lost.

But hey, that’s all behind us now – and we can only look forward to the next game, which is a tough one at Southampton.

Newcastle need to take something out of this game – we hope Remy Cabella can help us do just that.

Howay The Lads.

As much as i have now definately joined the pardew out side, there is NO WAY on this or any other planet i am spending my hard earned money on trying to oust him any faster. Ashley will do it in his own time or not at all, no amount of money will alter that.

Was Toonruz not the one who claimed to have all sorts of ITK knowledge on here a couple of years ago?

Repost – difficult to see how Tiote would start – he doesn’t play ’til Wednesday and then presumably will have a long flight back – assuming he gets home by Friday he will then be off to Southampton the next day – he will be kn*ckered!

We should go for Salah on loan with option to buy in January.

We cant loan anyone. Its only for the lower leagues. We can only sign free transfers, and only if they were out of contract before the window shut.

    Sliema,
We can’t loan anyone now mate. The loan window only exists for lower league UK clubs now. FIFA want that closed as well next season.

    martoon,
Fully agree on Tiote, can’t see him playing, particularly if he has actually been out injured.

    MArkaccus,
We can sign free transfers, but as we have named 25 people in our squad unless they are classed as under 21’s then we wouldn’t be able to use them till January anyway.

I think youbare right. Tiote will be protected for a while longer. He wont want a serious injury with the ACON coming up in Jan

It says on their campaign section on their site that there is a ‘present’ and ‘future’ sub heading which is coming soon.

I think their Pardew out holding a piece of paper thing went on the front page of the Chronicle didn’t it?

A quid from everyone will help buy banners etc. They might get them taken off them, but they also may not. At the Cardiff game, four or five came out at once near me in the Strawberry corner.

can we not change the 25 before that? Players who have not yet played for.example?

    Jail

I know its not a lot but imo it’s still a waste.

We need to take the game to Southampton and play two forwards (like we should have done last match). Presuming Tiote and Colback won’t play and not because England won but a diamond formation 433:

    ——- Riviere —— Ferryera
    ————— Cabella
    ——— Abeid —— Sissoko
    —————– Anita
    Haidarra – Collo – Willo – Janmatt
    —————— Krul

It can turn into a 442 with Aarons (sub Abeid) and Cabella on the wings, plus sub appearance by Perez (60min)

    Markaccus,
No, once you have named your 25 that is it until January. If we had named 24 then we could have added someone, but you can’t take out and replace.

I agree, except i would start with the flat 442 with the wingers. Deffo like to see two strikers, whether its goofy, rivvy, ferry or arma. We need to attack.

They shouldn’t be allowed to confiscate it. It’s not theirs. There’s usually a couple of banners up round the ground anyway. It’s only when it has Pardull’s face on a Pinocchio doll with ‘Hopeless’ underneath that they get picky 😉

ah right fair enough. In.which case its another idiotic mistake by the club. At least 3 of the named players are probably going to be loaned out,if reports are true. Insane

Ed – he’s talking about France here, not Newcastle. With the athletic team being Serbia.

On the sack Padew site, I thought it was excellent. Really slams home how poor he is when you see all of his quotes put together. As others have said, I’m willing to donate a few quid but only after there have been a few assurances and a preview as to what’s in the works.

When those banners came out at once at St. James’ they were up a while and the stewards had their work cut out to attend to them and even then there was big boos and jeers if they tried to take them down. Passing them round the crowd and away from the stewards keeps everyone entertained more than the negative football.

The Saints have been playing with 3 up top so far this season, they could tear our back line to shreds if we let them. The only way to play is to take the game to them, and force them deep into their own half. I’m not sure what the crack is with Chucky, I hope a jour no asks in the press conference, but if he isn’t to be used then Arma should be playing.

It is still early days for Aarons, but we need to keep Clyne and Bertrand pressed back, so I would want width to start the game. Aarons and Cabella either side, Rivi and Arma as the central pair.

Centre midfield is a struggle, as I haven’t seen Sissoko put in a good performance there for us yet. Without Tiote we could easily be overrun in there.

I don’t want to see Riviere dropped but it is obvious he can not do it on his own and is having the stuffing knocked out of him (or Pardewed); at least not until he has more confidence and has got to grips with the PL. If AP keeps one up front I hope he tries Ferryera; or Perez if he is planning on sitting back and countering on the break.

Lilongwe @16 – I didn’t know that – I thought you could change your 25. In that case naming Jonas in the 25 seems insane. Surely leaving a gap for a possible out of contract player would have been prudent.

Pardew should try sissoko through the centre for 1 game as colback is doubtful. Which opens space for cabella on right, Aaron left. It would look like this.

    Krul
    Janmaat willo colo Haidara
    Cabella sissoko tioti Aaron
    Riviere chucky

That’s a good side, later on in the game we should change to 4-2-3-1

    Janmaat willo colo Haidara
    Sissoko tioti
    Cabella Riviere aarons
    Chucky

Elliot taylor menhdi Perez armstrong on the bench

Pardew’s lineup for next match. For Anita I’d better play with Abeid.
And now show me a valuable defender on the bench… No comment.
