Fans Not Confident Of Taking Anything From St. Mary’s

We have lost both our games at St. Mary’s in the last two seasons, and haven’t even managed to score a single goal – we were beaten 4-0  last term and 2-0 the season before that, after Southampton had successfully fought their way back into the Premier League – which is where they belong.

A huge 77% of Newcastle fans think we will lose this game, and that would not be good for Newcastle and it wouldn’t be too good for manager Alan Pardew either.

Pardew has to start picking up some points soon, otherwise his job will be on the line, after the last two seasons have not been good.

There’s still time to vote for those who haven’t yet voted – one vote per reader.

we should try and score first. If we do that, the game will be much easier for us.we have quick wing players, cabella and sissoko,to finish them on the counter.but a draw will be good enough:
    krul
    janmaat. will Colo. Haida
    siso. Tio. colb. Goufran
    cabella
    Revy

77% voted for a defeat away at Southampton.

Incredible to think how sh&te we really are!

Southampton were apparently in a crisis situation only a few weeks ago having sold all their key players.

For us to beat Southampton Pardew must to set us up to win. He will probably set us up to defend and hopefully score a goal. That is difficult when the team is not balanced at all in attack – restrict an allready wobbly attack line.

I think we will lose by 3-4 goals unfortunately.

    Haidara/Aarons (hopefully starts)
    Janmaat/ Sissoko

These combinations need to be developed quickly in order to make us a more attacking threat.

I really despair at the thought of relying on Rivière as our central striker, just can’t see him scoring that many.

We can’t defend, so at least have a go Pardew.

That is Pardews strategy every game. 1 up front as we may get that lucky goal but chooses todefend for our lives for 90min and he cant then puff his chest out and feel happy that he has earnt us a point as was the case at villa. They were there for the taking as was Palace who were utter rubbish the previous 2 games they played. Pardew is a mug and always will be. Try to defend all game against the saints and they will bury us. Decent manager, decent players, top 10 team. They will show us up with idiot calling the shots

We suck! With Pardew here that is not going to change. It would be great to see HBA be the one that finally hits the last nail in his coffin with a superb solo effort in our match against Hull.

That would just hard to take for us fans but it would clearly show how useless Pardew and his so called management skills are, and how wrong he was to banish HBA from the team as he clearly has a lot to offer and is entering his prime.

It is very possible and if HBA plays very likely he will score to do one over Pardew.

HBA might even be tempted back or his loan deal cancelled and return to us knowing that Pardew won’t be there.

riviere will score but he is not getting the ball in the positions where he will score, he is getting into good positions, the problem is he is so isolated, most strikers will struggle in our team at the moment, its not a new problem for us been the same for a couple of seasons

any1 know what time pards is on

Only won twice on South coast in last 20 seasons. Better managers and better teams than this one have foundered at the Dell and St.Mary’s so may as well give the lads a bye on this one. Expectations nil.

Southampton is not a ” Bigger ” club than Newcastle man !!
They have a better squad than Newcastle but that doesn’t mean they are unbeatable .
