Who Should Be The Next Newcastle Manager?

Here are a list of candidates should Mike Askey decide to replace Alan Pardew as the Newcastle manager, and that looks even closer after today’s rather pathetic and abysmal display at Southampton. when we were beaten 4-0 for the second season running. 🙁

Alan Pardew – on the brink

Most of the managers here are available – all but Christophe Galtier at St. Etienne.

listen all of you saying we can just get Moyes or De Boer or any other half decent manager.
Why would any of them come here?
They wont get the top wage, they wont get the players they want, they wont get to keep their top players.
I\m not a Pards fan but it`s a horrible job to have.
He didn`t make Collo or Willo make the daft mistakes today.
They haven`t been training that although it looked that way.
Looking frward to seeing the back of Pardewbut it`s not worth thinking about who just might come in.
Tings can only get better,or not!

He was in the boozer day before transfer window closed. I posted I’d talked to a cpl ground staff etc.

Didn’t aproach him he was holding court so to speak and I decided not to waste my breath as there wouldn’t be any meaningfull conversation.

Didn’t think he’d do what he did today, loyal but to Pardew not the club

Available but Moyes and Di Matteo are usually on 8 times Pardews wages.
Why would we og for SHerwood?
He only got the spuds job because he`s an old player, nothing to give to NUFC.
Beardo would be better than him

I’ll back anybody else and them a chance but if I’m asked who I want, there you go.

Feel sorry for the players! looks like they have no hope to win game. All they hear from there manager is lies lies lies. Go out and try your best, Cabella u try to dribble like the one that shall not be named because he had a brain and complained at my tactic! Williamson u try to look like a scary 167ft skyscraper, and the rest; when ever u get the ball try to pass it sideways or back ways, Williamson u need to keep up your excellent clearance! Good work clearing/passing the ball to a.. a.. team… supporter.. at row Z.. Colback your taking freekick, aim for Williamson and he will do what he has been doing for the last 3 years, NOTHING! But lets all stick to the plan and we will win one of the next 50 games! Lets go out there and play some Foot… Hey Cabella what are we playing again? oohh yeah something called football.. at least we are trying, right?

No, you’re right, Pardew hasn’t been training Willo and Colo to make those errors. Three years on and he’s still working them to perform his masterplan of getting a head on a dead ball kick. When he gets that sorted it’ll be our secret weapon. Nobody will be expecting it. Europe he we come.

Pardew brags to the cameras (the ones that aren’t banned anyway) that he spends 4 days a week training with the defence.

So I’m going to disagree with you (with respect) and say that yeah, Pardew should be held responsible in part, for the cock-ups that Williamson and the rest of them did today.

Nope can’t see Joe kinnear so I’m not voting.

I said many moons ago, perhaps it was years…. that carver and the back room trying staff all needed to go. a good technical staff might have kept Pardew in his job longer. Ok maybe not.

He didn’t make willo or collo make those mistakes but he’s put his trust in them. He’s the manager. It’s his job to think ahead and prepare for the future. He bought MYM and binned”the other guy” forever.

Frank De Boer for me. Shame we couldn’t have got Rudi Garcia last year. Roma runners up immediately. We left it, now it’s come to this.

If it must be an English manger then Hoddle and after that, Moyes, but that’s like telling a kid to eat brussel sprouts or cabbage.

Although Moyes can have the team more organised, he’s still a defensive minded manager. At least Hoddle likes the better style of play. That is what I want to see. A positive and pressing approach.

Frank De Boer has 4 titles in a row at Ajax and constantly has his best players sold. Albeit he has a great platform to work with via the Ajax academy. They hadn’t won the title in 7 years before his first win, so he has turned them round from the relative wilderness.

Any of them may not work, but it can’t be as bad as it is now.

Honestly, any manager to put the following measures in order:

Krul – keep in the squad. whatever it takes.
Janmaat – keep on. to early to judge ability after 4 league games.
    Williamson- off load. imminently
Coloccini- off load. (fcuk knows how he still plays in the BPL)
Haidara- loan out. looks shaky and uncomfortable on the ball
Colback- get the best out of him. potential to be a special player.
Anita- replace. only a squad player IMO
Cabella- massive potential. one of the few great feets recently achieved
Sissoko- needs to be managed better. is on the brink of being “Pardewed” IMO
Gouffran- The most inconsistent player I have ever watched. Needs to be dropped.
Riveiere- Not a bad signing but quite a way off a proven number 9.
Tiote- on the brink on being “Pardewed”. Massive shame.
Perez- potential to be special. another decent signing.

Am also in disbelief at how we are having to loan players who arrived at the club with bags of potential. i.e YMB, HBA and marveax. I obviously dont know the club inside and out but i can only guess our coaching staff are utter shiet.

In order for us to be hitting 7th-10th spot:
    Remove Colo, Williamson, Gouffran.
Loan back Lascelles and secure at least 2 other centre backs.
Allocate a defensive midfielder. Tiote or someone new. Anita doesnt cut it.
New coaching staff, (midfield and defence)
Play with two strikers. As we do have enough strikers ffs.

Please post if you think otherwise. Would be interested to here.

Ed he will as he’s always done with NUFC, go for the cheapest option – preferably someone who will just be grateful to be back in the game and won’t make waves in the muddied waters of Ashley cesspit

Uve Rosler is a good shout. I like him.

I have a hunch Steve Bruce will be our next manager though.

Would be a decent appointment in my opinion.

Moyes De Boer etc are unrealistic options, on to much money and will have better offers if they hold out another while.

Steve Bruce is the only one. De Matteo being the only other

Still don’t think Pardew is getting sacked tho and to be honest I think its more of the team being shit than Pardew.

I mean this team is such a downgrade to last year.
    Remy> Riv
    Cabeye> colback
    Arfa> Cabella
    Debuc>Janmmaat although closer

Sissoko is not a good player just has a couple great attributes
    its just a bad team

I really don’t get why fans want Moyes. Did you not see the football everton played under him? yes they had a tight defence and were organised however they played dull hoof ball, it would be hardly an improvement to pardew.

Attractive, free-flowing football is first and foremost IMO for a new manager

To be fair which half decent manager is going to want to work under Mike Ashley? Short answer is nobody, Expect another Pardew coward/Puppet type replacement, None of the above will come near this club, changing the manager will achieve nothing in the long run, Mike Ashley is the biggest problem at this club, with him in charge the club will always go backwards, Boycott home games and make a stand against this parasite or the club will go down!
