Who Was Newcastle’s Best Player In 4-0 Mauling?

Let us know who you think Newcastle’s best player was at Southampton in what was a simply terrible performance by this Newcastle side, and we seemed to be second best to a good-looking Southampton side in nearly every department.

And remember that the Saints lost most of their best players in the summer.

Alan Pardew – his job at Newcastle has to be in jeopardy after this performance

What have the players been doing in training over the last two weeks – gets to be a very good question after this performance.

We were simply hopeless and completely outclassed today.

Between Haidara and Sissoko for me. The rest were ineffective to say the least.

I really don’t want Moyes.. He’s like pardew only more Scottisher, at least soon he’ll technically be a foreign manager which is what most of us have cried out for 😛

    h aha hahahahahahahhahahaha

So our 2014 premiership record is (I believe):

    P 24 W 5 D 3
    LOST 16 GD -27

So, it’s the third time I put it up but it is a disgrace!

i voted for Tim Krul. His class in bending down to pick up the ball from the back of the net 4 times was great to watch.

Has to be Haidara he’s the only one besides colback who seemed to actually care.

Haidara had the ball a bit but had chances to pick players out in the box and got nowhere near them

seriously, anyone really anyone would be an upgrade on pardew now. he is simply out of his depth in this level and is just taking us to the championship.

If Ash really is not going to sell for any price and is committed to us then ffs get a proper manager pronto.

This containing, defending deep, no movement, hardly any shots on goal, same old, same old every match has us looking ripe for relegation.

Soto had their club ripped apart but their newbies seem to be gelling in a system where they are allowed to play with freedom and a smile on heir faces. Our team’s body language stinks!

Yes we lost Cabaye but we came 16th the season before too. How many players have Soto lost plus a really good manager too?

    Rotonda,

    Your verdict Moyes?

I personally don’t want him, he plays a better organised version of pardew football. Plus he’s got an excuse book in production as well.

This utter loser does defensive training 3 or 4 days a week.

If that is still not enough for the pro-Pardew brigade to see sense then I’ve lost all hope for them as well as for the club.

DiMatteo plays defensive football as well.

If we’re gonna spend big on Moyes wages, give them to DeBoer instead.

I posted this a month back but thought I would edit it to keep up with the start of the new season:

In his time we have scored 209 competitive goals and conceded 249 giving us a score difference of -40 goals which is the worst in our under any manager in our PL history.

In fact 21% of the times we play we concede 3 or more goals over a 90 minute period and have done so 42 times in 3 1/2 seasons. So in once every 5 games we concede over 3 goals.

We have lost 16 of our last 24 league games and failed to score a goal in 14 of the 24. Out of the 24 we have only won 6 (could be 5 as Mactoon suggests).

Since the beginning of the year we have a GD of -27 in the PL.

I’m sure there are hundreds more stats.

The clouds will part, folk will rejoice in the streets, strangers will embrace one another heartily, orphans will light up with a shimmering smile, a band will assemble and be in full swing, the crackling of energy, life and all it’s wonders will palpably ripple through the air, it will be deep joy to behold, a day to remember…. all when Pardew is sacked.

Hahahaha. We should set him up with one of Ashley’s relatives or his missus. That will get him out of our job faster than pardew can say “make no bones about it” (pun intended)

@Stuart doubt that. The announcment will be with 5 games left and rock bottom of the league. Guarantee we will get a flukey 1-0 win vs hull and his job will be safe for another 10-15 losing streak disgracefull.

De Boer would be great, especially if he brings Bergkamp with him. Otherwise I’d like Sherwood & Ferdinand to be given a chance (even if just as caretakers). Third choice would be Remi Garde who won the french league with Mbiwa.
