Papiss Cisse Praises His Team Mates – We Worked So Hard

One thing you need to know about Papiss Cisse is that he’s really great guy and so humble, and after the game today, where he scored another two league goals to take his tally to four so far this season, he thanked his team mates for working so hard today.

papiss cisse scores first goal

Papiss Cisse scoring first goal today – how did he do that?

Newcastle were lucky to come away with a point today, let’s be honest, but when the lads worked so hard like they did today,  and you have a striker in form like Papiss Cisse is at the moment, we were always in with a chance – and we got a good point today.

This is what the Senegal man said after the game:

“The manager needs me and the team needs me but I will keep going and work hard.” “I want my team to work hard and believe.” “I know it’s not easy but keep going.”

“I like playing here but today was very, very hard.¨ “Swansea kept the ball but my team had to run and run.¨ “I scored two but Gabby and Sammy gave me good crosses.¨

“I just said well done to both. We worked hard.”

Newcastle started off playing in a 4-3-3 formation, but then after Riviere came on with 20 minutes to go and Newcastle losing 2-1,  we went into a 4–4-2 formation and looked a lot better and went at Swansea and Janmaat had a decent shot near the end that could have gone in with a little bit of luck.

Both Gabriel Obertan and Sammy Ameobi did well to get those right wing crosses over for the two goals, and when Cisse is in the side they know if they get that cross in, there’s always a chance the Senegal man can put the ball into the back of the net.

Papiss is a very important player for Newcastle United at the moment, there’s not doubt about that, and he got us another point today – much like he did against Hull City.

So when many NUFC fans on here including me were saying Cisse needed service form wide must not know as much as Pardew eh .

Na, Alan would prefer playing him on the wing or as a lone striker .

Yer right yer really can`t see the logic can you!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Pardew is part of the Ashley plan.

Under any other owner Pardew would have been long gone before the start of this season.

Why is he un sackable because he knows Pardew won`t get a better job than the one he`s in right now.

Getting rid of Pardew will be the first chink in Ashley`s armor and he well knows it.

Pardew knows he way out of his depth but he is a yes man so knows that`s the only thing keeping him in a job right now.

    Repost:

I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Pardew to get the sack. FCB obviously is going to give him until Christmas, by which time we are going to be proper F****D, and so far off the pace there will be NO recovering.

My only hope is that Pardew gets the players pressing higher up the pitch, pressing from the front and closing down the passing lanes much more quickly than they are doing now. Make the opposition make the mistake in the first 2/3’s of the pitch. Combine that with 2 up front and we could see us climb the table.

The work rate and desire of players up top of the pitch is appalling. Cisse is the ONLY player who wants to close down the ball in the 1st 3rd. Everyone else just watches the ball get passed by them without even a leg out to try and intercept. Every other team knows that if they press us high, they will get plenty of chances…we make defenses look like solid gold because we have so few players playing up top.

Add: Is it me, or do the players not know how to play a leading pass into other players? Most of our passes to a player moving down the field are to where they were when the ball was played…not where they are going to be when the ball arrives. So frustrating to watch.

bpc name the wingers we have baught tho since ober?

i said years ago now we havent bought a winger since duff

simply because they are too expensive but aslong as a young cm is available then we’ll have em! or left back

and our whole transfer policy is visible but doesn’t work season after season without plannining!

No its not your point at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Ashley wanted Redknapp as his first appointment before he got Keegan so your fact is utter shite that he wouldn`t appoint an half decent manager.

You have no idea like the rest of us of who Ashley would go for if he did sack Pardumb.

Ashley is so unpredictable if one thing!!!.

The only thing that is predictable is Pardumb`s tactics and boy has he been found out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

    three legged dope.
If Swansea had played slightly better they should have had the game wrapped up – most fans 85% thought we would get beat.
Your continual goading is extremely childish –two can play at that game.
As for you stating that King Percy won’t take us down – what a dope if you really believe that.
The coments about logic -refer to the fact that you haven’t got any – having some would suggest a working brain.

@soccer_sauce: We have been informed that talks between Mike Ashley and Pardew will take place tomorrow with managers departure looking very likely #NUFC

Please for the love of god let this be true!
These lads got I’d say 85% of our summer business right (I know I know ITK’s are BS) but I’m clinging on to hope here

I genuinely think this result did not matter, think his mind was made after Hull
Hopefully Charnley may have some influence and hopefully he has sought advise and has an actual manager lined up rather than a washed up glazer and for once in his tenure does the right thing, Sack Pardew who’s position is simply untenable and bring in someone who at the very least has a record of utilising a style of play that suits the players we have

How much better did we look when we played 442 ?? Everyone was tighter to the Swansea players , we played higher up the field and had people near the penalty box at all times when it happened !

As proven get service into the box and Cisse will score its not rocket science having wide men Sammy and Obertan may not be the best in the business but they can put a ball in, beat a man , have pace and track back what more do you need in a winger???!!

Swansea were hanging on by the end and kept launching the ball away they are good on the ball if you let them be a more adventurous formation and attitude from the start of the game could have seen us claim the points rather than just salvage a draw !

Also Colback should not be playing he should only be back up for Tiote we dont need 2 of them in there its why we look slow and dont get the ball forward enough because the both of them do sideways passes rather than forward ones

Colo should be dropped as well because he is all over the place I would actually rather play Dummett at CB than him and put Haidara at left back

Our formation and team against Leicester should be:

    Krul
    Janmaat
    Willo
    Dummett
    Haidara
    Tiote DM
    Sissoko AM
    Obertan RW
    Sammy LW
    Cabella No 10 / 2nd forward
    Cisse CF

This would allow us to spread the play to the wings creating space in the middle for Cabella to make those through balls for Cisse to hit first time

That is a team to get us out of the relegation mire if only Pardew was brave enough to drop his favourites !

New modern manager needed. Alan happy enough with a draw that he will retain his 4.5.1. Formation. He’s too afraid to go for it against any team. The team needs to express itself better and there doesn’t seem to be a game plan with alan

Big Pappa, exactly. Cisse needs service in the box and he’ll get in the right positions to score all day long.

We played crap today, but if we actually had a manager who could get us playing good attacking football, Cisse would continue to get regular goals with the right service.

His Pardewed form has faded off as he’s been away. This little spurt will be here until the Pardew effect absorbs back in and he looks lost again.

Exactly Stoke are shite and if we had any attacking ambition we would have beat them easily even the Mackems took them apart today 3 – 1 !!

In fact looking at the fixtures we have had and teams we should have beaten quite easily is shocking Villa , Palace and Hull we should have beat easily as well City and Southampton were our only difficult games to begin with

Just hope these online rumours are true and he is getting sacked tomorrow
