Good News Bad News For Newcastle

As far as injuries go at the moment,  Newcastle are not in too bad a state, although we have both Papiss Cisse and Cheick Tiote to play on Wednesday night in the African Cup Nations Qualifying games, and that’s very close to our game against Leicester on Saturday.

Daryl Janmaat – expected to be fit for Leicester City game

That doesn’t give our two African stars much time to recover for the vital game next Saturday at home, and a defeat in the game could mean it’s curtains for Alan Pardew – but we hope we can get our first win of the season in that game.

However the good news is that it looks like we will have Daryl Janmaat fit for the game, after he had a slight hamstring injury, and had to withdraw from the Holland squad early last week.

But Tim Krul was injured yesterday, and we are still waiting to hear what the prognosis is on the goalkeeper, who was on the bench for Holland in their 3-1 home win over Kazakhstan on Friday night.

But then yesterday he was sent home to Newcastle, after injuring his elbow in training, and we hope its not the same elbow he injured back in the 2012-2013 season.

While we don’t know just how bad the injury is,  it would be doubtful if he can play on Saturday, and we don’t want to play him while he’s unfit and make the injury worse, so it seems that Rob Elliot will come into the side.

We’ll be anxiously seeing how those two African Cup of Nations games go on Wednesday night, with Papiss and Cheick being two of our players in form at the moment.

And David Moyes said yesterday he was now ready to return to football management, and he was just waiting for the right opportunity to come along.

If Tiote & Cisse come back healthy, but tired, AP will play them & get them fatigue injuries. That will keep them out of the side until it is time to go back for the Cup of Nations.

I hope Moyes gets a new job before Pardews sacked and I hope Andy Carol never plays for NUFC again.

No wonder I feel drained concerning NUFC if that’s the future we should expect.

Just my humble comments, I would take a big beating on Saturday by the fox’s just to get P45due out of our club! He is the singularly common reason for our poor performances over the last 24 months. He cannot set a team out to play attractive winning football. He is not a man manager and has Pardewed most of the team, who bless them have been instructed to back him. We are in dire straights with this bloke and the sooner he is back in London the better.

More drivel.. What do you mean you want Leicester to beat us this weekend? ‘Pardewed’ expression making another appearance I see. What is that supposed to mean? Just a downright lazy comment that. And one that several people seem to have adopted with no foundation or reasoning whatsoever. If you are a supporter you have your say if you have something constructive to say but back the team. Not gob on about wanting them to get heavily beaten, whatever the reason.
